I would rather sleep on the floor

We got to the hotel at about 3 am, it took the "older gentleman" 20 minutes to fill out 3 lines on what he called an 'application'. We then had to walk up a flight of stairs with my 76 year old grandmother because the first floor rooms were all reserved. After making 3 trips up and down the stairs to unload things, the man called the room to tell us that he had 'incorrectly calculated' our bill and we needed to come pay the remainder. The rooms were dirty, I swiped my hand on the back of the toilet and was glad I had done it before I sat my clothes on it.
The plumbing made an awful squealing noise when the person on the other side of the wall turned it on, it woke my grandmother and I both up at 430 in the morning.
I would seriously rather have slept on the floor or in the car as to having stayed there.
