Why in the H_LL is this dump called a hotel?

My family and I have stayed in hundreds of hotel, due to the fact that my husband has served in the military for over 17yrs. Of all the hotels, this one is by far the worst. I wished I had read the reviews on this hotel before we booked our room for 1wk (non refundable of course).
The first night we were in the room, our wooded bed frame collapsed at 11 at night. The agent from the desk came to the room and placed the mattress and box spring on the floor and that is where my husband and son slept until maintenance was able to fix it the next day.
The rooms smelled dirty.
We were required to pay a $10.00 cash deposit in order to use the hotel iron.
The hotel weight room consisted of 4 pieces of workout equipment, which had to be more than 20yrs old. We were required to go to the front desk every day to request a newly activated door card in order to work out.
The washer and dryer had to be 25yrs old, Of course, the front desk was unable to refund our money which was stuck in the machine because she only worked 4p-11p, so therefore she would have to leave a message for someone in the morning.
Towels had to be requested from the front desk every single day, because they were never replaced when housekeeping came to the room.
If housekeeping were graded on cleanliness, they would get an F. I think our toilet was cleaned only once during our week stay.
The hot hotel breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal and stale donuts every day.
The hotel was also in the middle of nowhere surrounded by and unfinished Waffle House, a service station, and a Baldinos.
If I had known the hotel was going to be this bad I would have spent a few extra dollars, and stayed in Fayetteville.
