For bargain shoppers
Hey, yeah, the floors were a bit dirty (my white socks looked like I'd walked outside for a bit), but it appeared clean. The beds were extremely soft and comfortable and the location is superb.
It's exactly what you would expect from an old motorlodge from a throwback day.
However, let me tell you about the showers. The heads are low, but the water pressure is phenomenal. It's like a massage, it comes out so hard. Very relaxing. The TVs are a bit small, but the atmosphere is quite quaint.
In all honesty, if you're looking for a place to sleep, it's fine and affordable. If you're looking for a ritzy experience with the bells and whistles of vacation, look elsewhere.
However, Wilmington is so beautiful, why spend time in the room anyway?
