Bizarre, unpleasant place

There are no signs identifying this hotel anywhere outside it -- you have to find it by accident. When you do, there is no way to park temporarily near the check-in desk. Instead, you must park in a dark, unmarked, unsafe-feeling lot a long way from the unmarked building, trail your heavy luggage through unmarked doors to a long unmarked hallway where you must guess which way to go, and then if you guess right, haul yourself and your luggage up a steep staircase to (finally) the desk.
My room was absolutely filthy. The bathroom had not been cleaned at all after the last guest: toothpaste spit all over the vanity, sink and mirror, hair on the floor and walls and in the tub, stains in the toilet, sour-smelling towels and shower curtain. Popcorn that was under my bed when I arrived was still there three days later when I left. Used sundries were not replaced with each day's cleaning, used cups and glasses were not removed.
Truck noise from the street was extremely disturbing all night. The room decor is probably intended to be modern and crisp, but, since it isn't actually clean, it doesn't work: the black furniture is so dusty and smeared that it just looks depressing and bleak.
I was there for a meeting and the seminar room was so cold, even after repeated pleas for heat from the attendees, that most of us put on our winter coats, buttoned them up, and wore them in our seats for the rest of the day.
I hope I never have to go back there.
