I'm so glad for hotel reviews. I'm planning a trip there in Oct...know where not to stay. Thanks to all of your reviews!

This hotel seems awesome. I want to see the potted plants in the lobby; I bet they're so lifelike and well cared for. I wonder if they're organic. I didn't actually stay here - my brother did; but he loved it.

During a one night stay two different people entered my room with key cards. One was housekeeping and the other was guest at 7AM in the morning after the Hotel checked this person into my room. The only response from the hotel was "sorry, how about a free breakfast". I cannot imagine if I was a womand or if my wife was staying with me or by herself. I would not feel safe letting my wife, daughter, mother or any female staying there.

I loved the location! The staff was very nice and helpful.

We stayed here for seven days on a summer vacation. The hotel is in a good location to walk around time square area, but we found the rooms to be below average. In addition the staff were hard to find when you needed someone and we found that the concierge staff was not helpful and somewhat rude sometimes. This was very dissapointing. The wait for an elevator was also long and the elevators were always very crowded. We will stay somewhere else next time.

I had my Do Not Disturb sign on my door, yet was awakened by a knock at 9:30 am, which I did not acknowledge. About an hour later I heard another knock, but was in the bathroom, so also did not acknowledge. Then a little after 11 am, my phone rang. I answered and found out that it was the housekeeper, wanting to know when she could clean my room. I asked her if she had knocked before and did she notice that I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. She admitted that she had knocked and that she had seen the sign. I then asked her why she was calling my room, knowing that I did not wish to be disturbed. She apologized, but it was too late, she had already woken me up and disturbed my morning. Why bother having those signs, if they are not meaningful? The only thing I did like, is that I was able to get free wireless internet in my room, even though the hotel does not tell you this because they want you to pay for an ethernet connection. So if you do stay here and have a wireless laptop, try to get online in your room and avoid giving these people your money for nothing!

The staff was outstanding and rooms were amazing. The best hotel in the whole world! I heard about the elevator problem but i would be sooooo excited when we would have to take the elevator. Awesome view on the 40th floor. You really need to visit NYC just because of the Marquis!

The set-up of the hotel was luxurious. The restaurant was wonderful! And you couldn't find a better location - the heart of Time Square.

great location and fun to be at. Rooms are consistently good. Was there for meetings and the service is very good. The facility meets all needs for business conference.

I think it has the best location. It's a beautiful hotel,very glamorous.
