Moat DISGUSTING Place In The World!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/09
Beware!!! Don't EVER stay here!! This place is filled with Social Services flunkies!! If they aren't overflowing the rooms or hallways, their friends are sleeping in their vans and campers in the parking lot blasting rap music all night!! Don't bother to tray and complain because no one cares!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! No microwave or fridge in the room because all the Social Service people have them!! This place is HORRIBLE!!!

Horribly Dirty Hotel
By Mary, 8/11/08
This place isn't fit for man or beast. The bathrooms were filthy dirty, tile peeling off the shower walls with pieces all over the tub. The toilet hadn't been cleaned in months and the floors were absolutely the dirties I've ever seen. Even the hallways were filthy. They advertise they take pets, I wouldn't let my pet nor my family members stay at this place. I took one look at this room and backed out quickly demanding my money back. They gracefully gave me a credit but wanted to give me a "newer room." NO THANK YOU. This place is a disgrace to the Howard Johnson's name and I will never stay in another Howard Johnsons.

in a word: filthy
By J., 6/3/08
The July 05 comment was right on - but we stayed there anyway - May 08 - because we were under the impression that the motel had been recently remodeled. The long term residents are still there, the parking lot is potholed, dog hair all over the hallways, delayed construction, stink, dirty rooms and poor service overall. We stayed several days and the daily cleaning was poorly done, we were not restocked with coffee or cups and the towels stunk. Having stayed at a few "mom and pops" in the area, we expected more from this chain. It was terrible.

Welfare hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/11/05
The place is infested with roaches. Most of the guests appear to be long term residents. Since there are no kitchen facilities the guests drag their furniture outside and grill their meals while listening to loud music, smoking and drinkng beer. Do your self a favor. Spend another few dollars and stay in a clean room in the Holiday Inn, Courtyard or Hampton Inn on the other side of town.
