Ramada Inn Utica Area/New Hartford, New Hartford

My wife, daughter and I arrived from NC exhausted on 7/15/2010, we stayed thru Sunday night. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable! In the morning they had a well stocked continental breakfast, lots of hot scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, bacon,hash brown potatoes, cereals both hot and cold, fruit, yogurt , coffee, tea, it all was much appreciated! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outside pool is soon to be enclosed and they apparently are going to be doing some remodeling in the restaurant/bar area, so even more good changes appear to be in store. We had a tricky time getting in and out of the place due to way the roads around the hotel are designed, but if you can navigate around the New Hartford area there are plenty of stores and restaurants to enjoy. We would certainly encourage others to come and see, we would come again!

Very clean, all staff from the Manager to housekeeping were very nice. Room was also clean and the rate was less then the other hotels around it, It included a hot breakfast which was a perfect start to the day.

For medical reasons I have been going to the Ramada Inn and have stayed there a total now of 3 or 4 times. Every time I have been there...the staff have been nothing bud totally accomodating to me and my husband...They have been so friendly that here is a small story to let you know how much... One time we went down our TV wouldn't work right so I called the front desk...they came immediately but couldn't fix it...they tried different tv's and our tv in other rooms...They finally found out that it was the line into the room and in a matter of a half hour they had the satellite or cable company there who found out that the problem was on the roof and the line into the room...It was fixed within the first hour we arrived... Maybe the Ramada is hidden away and the furniture is old but I will continue to stay there and as far as bugs...I personally have never seen any in the rooms I have stayed in... Thank you Ramada Inn for making us feel that we were the most important people staying with you...

$139 is alot to pay for a small room, uncomfortable beds, outdated furniture, no breakfast, and boring location. Hairdryer didn't even work. The pool is outside and closed by 8:00. Kids were disappointed.
