Great Hotel
By ,
It was a great hotel, I stayed there a few nights. I paid for most of it with a free gift card that I got from ESPN. I think they're still giving them out at nflgiftcards.info, hurry before they run out!

Great in the Garment District
By ,
I will start this off by stating that we weren't originally supposed to stay here, but I'm so glad that the company I booked with overbooked the other hotel, because our stay was fabulous! I'd heard the horror stories about small rooms in New York...that isn't so here. Our room with one king bedwas a wonderful size, the bed was super comfy, the entire hotel is smoke free, and breakfast, while not superb, was hot, substantial, and free. I would have ranked everything perfectly if not for one inattentive guest service agent - the one who checked us in. Everyone else was amazingly helpful and nice. Also, the brochure of the hotel in the room said that the hotel had a hot tub, but it didn't. It did, however, have a nice computer with printer and free DSL so that you can print your boarding passes or what have you. This hotel is only a few blocks away from Penn Station NY, which makes it really easy to get to from airports via public transportation. (We were able to get there from Newark for $15 on the AirTrain.) Also, there is a small subway outlet on the corner which will easily transport you to Times Square or Rockefeller Center if you don't want to make the walk. (It is very easy to walk to Times Square or Rockefeller Center...it just takes some time.) It is also really close to great shopping (it is in the garment district afterall), restaurants - try Scotty's for some yummy grub, and the Empire State Building. My favorite eatery - though off-topic - was Serendipity 3 for Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, accessible via the subway. Overall, this hotel was such a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely stay there again.

great for families
By ,
We loved the room, loved the mini fridge in the room and the breakfast. One block away from the blue and red subway lines, Macy's, and walking distance to Times Square makes this hotel great for a family vacation on a buget.

This is the place to stay if your going to the Javits Center.
By ,
This was the most pleasant Hotel I have ever stayed in in NYC or anyplace else for that matter. The entire staff work as a team to make your stay an enjoyable one. I can't say enough about it. We actually looked forward to going down to breakfast every morning. The smell of the waffles was enough to brighten your day.

Recommend to everyone
By ,
This hotel was perfect in everyway. I went to NYC on business and invited my mother to come along to visit her childhood friend. The hotel was 1 and a half blocks to Penn Station, 10 to the Lyon King, 3 to Madison Square Gardens, and 1 block to Macy's. The location was in walking distance of all of our scheduled activities. The room was spacious enough for two people and 4 pieces of luggage. The economical lodging included a nice, warm, continental breakfast, in-room refrigerator, safe, and wireless internet access. Every member of the staff was welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. Our stay was so impressive, that I'm contacting my corporate office to recommend this hotel for our business travelers.

We go back we're stayin' here!
By ,
Excellent place to stay in NYC! Have been to NYC before and this is topps compared to my first stay! Staff friendly and helpful!!! Asked if they knew a good place to eat and was directed to a great place for dinner! Rooms and rest of hotel is clean and comfortable! Some say little rooms but unless you have had a bad stay in a really little room you'll never know! You have us hooked and planning to be back in '07 so we'll book here for sure!

A very nice Hotel.
By ,
After getting over the fact that a trip to NYC is a excercise in over spending on everything and anything I came to enjoy this hotel alot. Its brand new, very clean and the staff is a ball. My fiance, her daughter and I went for a long holiday weekend in early December. We felt safe and enjoyed being right down the block from Macy's. Our room was right next to the elevator but we never heard any noises during the night. The complimpentary breakfast had everything you needed to get you started with your day. The staff was helpful with showing us sites on the map or subway routes. Very nice hotel.

Decent Hotel in the Garment District
By ,
For our first time in NYC, we were pleased with this newly constructed hotel. The rates were reasonable (by NYC standards), the accommodations were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly--though it was clear most of them were not seasoned hotel employees. The two disappointments were the complimentary breakfast--which was not very exciting--and we weren't crazy about the location on W. 35th which is okay in the daytime but not so okay after dark when most businesses on the street close up. Would we stay there again? Possibly. It was generally a positive experience and helped to make our first trip to the Big Apple a good one.
