Love it
By Sara, 07/25/09
I love staying here, my family and I have been coming here for the last 15 years at least. We found this place by chance, Bonnie is the name of my aunts dog, and that is why we stayed here for the 1st time. When my brothers and I were little, the whole extended family would rent out a cabin and we would bbq right out front. It is a very kid friendly place, with basketball courts play grounds. One of the land marks of the place is a large wooden tower in front with a slide. The water front is excellent, they have boat docking which is key and and a pool as well for those who do not want to swim in the lake. It is close to everything by car and by boat. If you are going to stay anywhere in the Lake Goerge Area, I would recomend the Bonnie View

Great cottages right on the lake!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/07
We loved staying at Bonnie View in mid-June. My husband's family used to come to Lake George when he was a little boy, so we wanted to bring our kids here. The location is excellent: far enough away from bustling Lake George that you can relax, yet close enough to get to for anything you need. The cabins are very simple and rustic, as lakeside cabins are supposed to be. We had one with a view of the lake. Everything was very clean and comfortable, if modest. The staff were friendly and helpful, the other people we spoke with there were friendly family people. My daughter enjoyed fishing off the dock, and playing in the lake. Because the lake water is COLD, they have a modest, heated outdoor pool where my kids swam happily in the heat of the afternoon. We'd stay here again, and recommend it to others. The tiny town of Bolton Landing is just up the road. There is a supermarket there where you can buy food to cook/eat at your cabin. There's a laundromat, but it closes at 8 pm. (There are also laundromats in Lake George and Queensbury, but they all close about 8-8:30. The Great Escape is a fun amusement park in Lake George. We mainly spent time in or on the lake. Very relaxing.

Great Family Friendly Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/05
Great place to bring kids. They can wade into the shallow water and play in the sand beach near the docks. The staff keeps the rooms clean and is always pleasant. This was our second year going to BV and we will be going back again.

The best place to relax!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/29/04
I've stayed in this resort for about 10 days every year for the last 6 years. I've stayed at many other places in Bolton and this is the best. Very calm area of the lake with a GREAT view. Hotel is no more than 5 minutes from boat rentals and around 10 minutes to the butcher/grocery store (Tops is located closer). Cabin/Hotel rooms have their own (although some are shared) grill which are cleaned daily. All-in-all this resort is amazing. The staff is very friendly and everything is kept so clean. Also to mention: they have a nice pool, tennis courts, shuffle board court, a play ground (swings and the like) and a phone booth with internet connection (note: cabins have no phone line so bring your cell phones!).
