Days Inn Auburn Finger Lakes Region, Auburn

was not what I expected for the price we paid - staff was not very friendly or helpful, carpets in hallway were filthy, breakfast was nothing special

i believe this place has undergone new management because based on the other reviews my expierience was completely differnt. i stayed there for 2 weeks while my boyfriend underwent training. they were so nice and helpful. i would totally recommend this hotel. its clean, friendly, has internet access, and i have no complaints.

Upon checking in, the wrong room was assigned to us. Ten minutes after getting to the room, we had to change rooms. I had reserved three rooms {non smoking} three weeks ago and wanted the three rooms next to each other. This didn't happen either. My bathroom was filthy!!!! Dirty wash cloths in the shower, wet soap bar stuck to the sink, hair all over the bathroom floor, and dirty tissues on the night stand. The carpet had dirt all over it and needed to be swept. One of the other rooms also had a filthy bathroom and needed clean linens. The third room wasn't the cleanest but at least had clean towels and linens. The next day we left for the day to go shopping and upon returning found one of the rooms door had been left ajar, probably for the entire day after the hotel staff was in there to put in clean towels.(we double checked the door before we left to make sure it was locked) All in all this was a dump. The ice machine didn't work and there was only one in the entire motel. The non smoking rooms I had asked for were smoking. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to stay.

In my humble opinion, this place is a DUMP!! However, there are two things that are nice about it. First, when you stay there, you have access to the YMCA one block to the north complete with treadmills, basketball, etc. Second, the large televisions are nice and the cable TV selection is great. The place is very dirty and old and the breakfast is quite weak. Your first clue that the breakfast is awful is that they serve Tang in a container marked "orange juice." Avoid this dump. BD

a non smoking room that smelled like the dirty ash trays that were in it,an ac unit that only made heat, a room that was reserved for three adults with two beds that only had one bed, a door that could not be closed from the inside, a coffee maker that was not cleaned from the previous quest. The most disappointing places I have stayed at in along time.

We made our reservations here over the other hotels in the area because they told us they would charge us NO pet deposit. We even called back to verify our reservation and they said again, NO PET DEPOSIT. Guess what they charged us and even when we tried to get it fixed they said TOO BAD. They bring you in on a lie. The rooms weren't too clean either and we will never go back there.

This hotel was the dirtest hotel I have stayed in. We travel every weekend all over and this place is a disgrace for the money.
