Satellite Inn, Alamogordo

This must be all family member reviews. This place is got to be the worst place to stay. Still not sure what those stains were??????

By far the best hotel in Alamogordo. I definatly will go back to Satellite Inn. Great people, Nice little breakfast, Guest Laundry. Easy check inn, Nice, roomy and clean room. You can get almost everything for a $40.00 room. I prefer everyone to take a look at this hotel before you go to other hotel in Alamogordo.

We have stayed in Alamogordo many times. Satellite in was by far the best. Rooms were clean, staff was very curtious. For the money by far the best place to stay in Alamo!

This place was not what was expected. the service is terrible. nobody was at the front desk and when someone did arrive they were rude. upon arriving in my room, it was dirty. the floor hadnt been vacuumed, there was crumbs on the dresser, the bedspread had a hole in it, hair in the tub. not pleased

When I recently moved to the S. Sacramento Mts, I stayed at the Satellite Inn for several months as I looked for a dark-sky astronomy site in the nearby mountains. The service provided was very good, but the people at the Satellite were the best part. Great people... the kind you meet and become friends with immediately. Just before I found a home in Laborcita Canyon, the Satellite completely wired every room with broadband access... not spotty wireless, but with Cat5. Just plug in your laptop and zoom! Very super staff, willing to work around your schedule. Free FAX service, free broadband Internet connection, free Continental breakfast, and lots of helpful advice about almost anything in the area. Because I was staying for several months, they even offered me a special reduced price... amazing folks.
