A home away from home
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/09
Close to the center of town in a quiet neighborhood with private garden and view of Taos mountains. Beautifully decorated with warm, inviting rooms with Kiva fireplaces. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home. Every small detail has been attended to, including the 600 count sheets and warm bathrobes. And then there are the delicious breakfasts. We cannot wait to go back for another visit.

Loved La Posada de Taos! Stay here when in Taos!
By Carol Traveler, 02/04/09
La Posada de Taos was such a welcome home in Taos. Evenings spent in front of the crackling fireplace, snuggling into the cozy beds, waking up to Michael's great breakfast, talking with Brad about places to go and things to see, it was all fantastic. We got a ski package from the B&B and it was such a great deal. When we came home from the ski valley, it was an easy walk to the plaza and great restaurants, but just relaxing around the inn was a treat too. We loved it here and look forward to coming back. We've stayed at other places in Taos, but this is the best. We'll never stay anywhere else!

We were AMAZED at La Posada de Taos
By Sandy, 02/02/09
From the moment we first drove up the one lane street in the historic district, we realized that we had found something special. But when we got into the home we were truly amazed. Brad and Michael wowed us each morning with fresh baked items and meals that you only find at the finest hotels in the world. The dinner recommendations and the list of things to do given to us by Brad were equally incredible. Everything really was just 2 1/2 blocks away as promised. And what can we say about the Taos Ski Valley other than it truly lives up to its reputation as world class skiing.

Very cozy.

A little hard to find, but a nice experience. Room we stayed in was a little small (and television was so small it was hard to see). Nice proprietor and lovely breakfast.

Very Romantic
By A Yahoo! User, 12/30/07
Taos New Mexico was wonderful and We are going back. My husband loved the chili rellenos and I loved everything that was served in Taos. This B&B was so comfortable and clean. The owners were wonderful cooks and great conversationalists.

Romantic and wonderful!
By Ann W, 12/11/07
This lovely B&B has the charm that Taos is famous for. Quaint Southwestern decor, lovely kiva fireplace, flower filled garden and absolutely delicious breakfasts and afternoon homemade snacks like fresh baked cookies. I want to go back again and again!

La Casa
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/07
We just spent two nights at La Posada de Taos. Our two room casa was very nicely decorated by Sandy and the "goodies" available in the main dining room where more than most B&B. Breakfast was a delight with the host being very considerate of personal food likes/dislikes. The addition of neighbors/friends of the Innkeepers to the dining table added local interest etc. to the conversation. Within reasonable walking distance of the Plaza

Truly a restful oasis
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/05
La Posada de Taos is an oasis in a hectic world. I stayed there in the summer of 2002 and found the bed & breakfast to be one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. Starting with the beautifully landscaped grounds, which are not overdone, but are very elegantly in keeping with the Northern New Mexico setting of Taos, the inn immediately made me feel like I was far removed from all the busy, modern stuff we fill our lives with. I stayed in one of the downstairs rooms, which has its own nice garden and patio off the back. The inn was private, peaceful and clean. One has to remember they are in a B & B, so keeping the noise level very low helps everyone. While I was there I had absolutely no problems with noise or any other intrusion. Breakfast was healthy, tasty and pleasant, with just enough camraderie to start the day. The inn is a few blocks from the Plaza, which lends itself to nice walks and a feeling of seclusion. The inn is tastefully and comfortably appointed and decorated, and the authentic furnishings and main house areas are very pleasant.
