Wasn't my first choice, but so glad I went there!
By ,
I recently went to Santa Fe for a job interview and my potential employer put me up here. Man, did I luck out! Obviously, the main attraction is that it's located a few blocks from the Plaza (where I was interviewing at) but there's so much more to this place. The rooms and lobby area were adorable and had a very home-y feel to them. The breakfast is included in the rate and so is the afternoon tea and sherry service. The lobby area also hosts free Internet and printing and a small area of literature for entertainment or learning about the city. The only MINOR problem I had was that a few times my room key would not work, but there was always someone at the front desk who would just replace them for me. I didn't get to try their restaurant, Del Charro, but several people recommended it. I would absolutely recommend this place to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced hotel downtown with great service.

A little more for the money?
By ,
The location was about 2 blocks off of the plaza, which was fun to walk to and from. The breakfast was awesome. The outdoor eating space transported me to somewhere in Spain. However, the rooms were small and tight. Our room opened up to the street (motel?) and we had lots of foot noise from people coming and going. The windows were a latch style, so safety may be a concern for some...the bed is about a foot or less from the window. The room really blew the whole experience for me. Not worth the price at all. I will return to Santa Fe, but not to this hotel. I would rather spend the big bucks with a little more high end sleeping room. Also, the parking was very tight and some of it was underground and far away from the room, if that is a concern for you. The pool was uncomfortable tight when more than 2 families were there at a time. In room fridgerator was older and did not work well.

Santa Fe's Finest
By ,
Location it fantastic, charm and service are top notch. Fireplaces everywhere and just hanging around the lobby is cool. My wife will not stay at any other place in Santa Fe. If you are a fan of a cocktail the margaritas and the hotel bar are the best in town.

Consistently A Great Place
By ,
My family and many friends have been guests here many times during the past twenty years. The facilities, staff, restaurant, and fellow travelers we encounter are always consistently first rate. Start the day with the amazing breakfast included in your room fee and you will not need lunch. The hotel's proximity to the many downtown attractions and the staff's knowledge of sights, events, and all things Santa Fe make this a great home base for truly enjoying the area. I have highly recommended the Inn for many years and continue to do so - I hope you have a wonderful time in Santa Fe!

Excellent place to stay
By ,
Can't get much better than this. Rooms were well decorated, beds were awesome. Small touches made it feel very upscale. The free breakfast was incredible, far above the basic cereal, waffles and coffee. SW scrambled eggs, salsa, bacon, sausage, lots of fresh fruit, many kinds of juices, pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a staff that was friendly and attentive. Walking distance to everywhere, great burgers in the restaurant, and beautifully decorated grounds. The only caution I would make is that parking spaces are small and required some careful maneuvering to avoid hitting another car. Large trucks and SUVs will have some trouble. Everything else was excellent!

We can't wait to go back\"
By ,
Loved the bed; it was sooooo comfy and the linens were top quality. The location is great, within walking distance of just about everything. The Los Charros room is the best bargain in town and the food was great. Try the Stuffed Poblano Chili....Awesome.

sweet, sweet place
By ,
room was upgraded at no additional charge when reserved room not available. great start! beds and many pillows were perfect. linens fresh and nice. room and bath were spotless. refrigerator clean, as were coffee-maker and glassware. artfully finished southwest decor appreciated. fireplace worked effortlessly. availability of extra wood surpassed expectations. complete staff very helpful and kind. enjoyed using up-to-date 'restaurant bible'. location perfect and never noisy. del charro popular, reasonable and very good drinks. waitstaff great! we loved everything about this place with the exception of the cold breakfasts-no matter what time you want to eat. never enough decaf coffee. parking spaces small.
