Great Surprise

This is the place to stay in Raton, NM. When we stepped into our room, we were stunned that we could have found such a bargain. Most places would have charged twice what we paid. The lounge, the restaurant, everything about the place is first class.

Beware!

This is the second time we've stayed at this place and both times didn't get to sleep till about 4am because of the very loud music, yelling, laughing and partying in the large central atrium that's open to all room windows and doors. I saw on the sign outside, "Bar" but assumed that it was in a quiet secluded corner of the motel. Not...I can't believe that this place is still open. Their pool sure wasn't. Very disappointed in the whole place.
