Edelweiss Lodge & Spa, Taos Ski Valley

The listing here is out of date as it seems to reference the old Edelweiss Hotel. Now on the same site (same great ski-in/ski-out location) there is the newly built Edelweiss Lodge and Spa- a modern condo property with a spa, restaurant, and fully furnished condos for short or long term rentals. It is clearly the nicest place to stay with personal boot lockers, ski valet service right beside the snow, and on site underground parking (something no one else has). The food is great, the spa services the best around, and the rooms are beautifully furnished (although they do vary as each unit is individually owned). Ask about the unit you are getting and be sure it is one of the highly requested ones- some are to die for. If you have the budget- or can negotiate a good rate- there is no better place to stay in TSV- esp for families and convenience. Looks like it would be beautiful in the summer too. Lots of spectacular alpine hiking.
