Never Again

I often stay at Courtyard by Marriott and was unprepared for the poor service I received at Mt Arlington.
I repeatedly called the front desk to arrange for a wake-up call. No one answered the phone for 90 minutes. I finally requested my wake-up call but was woken at the incorrect time. The following day I made two separate requests for towels, but none were delivered. I also requested my room be cleaned so my toddler could take a nap in the afternoon. When I returned to my room at 3:45 pm, my room was not cleaned. I walked to the lobby to complain to the clerk and was told that they had until 5:00 pm to clean my room and I would have to wait. I asked to speak to the manager and complained again. I sat in the lobby with my son until my room was cleaned at 4:45 pm! The only person concerned about the inconvenience to my family was the maid who apologized repeatedly and sincerely. The perfect ending to my weekend was being awakened at 3:30 am by three teenagers wandering the halls, drinking beer and banging on doors looking for their friend. I would never stay at the Mt. Arlington Courtyard again, and my opinion of the Marriott corporation as a family-friendly hotel has been severly compromised.
