Better than expected

I read the other reviews before heading to the Inn and, since they were decidedly negative, I didn't expect very much. That's the key to the Nassau... if you want a 4 or 5 star experience, or if you're going to spend a goodly amount of time in your room, then this is not the place for you.
On the other hand, if you want a central location, a clean and quiet room, and a helpful staff (our experience, anyway), then book a room. Yes, the place is a bit thread-bare, and the look of the (rather small) rooms and bathrooms are right out of the 50s or early 60ss, but big deal.
Given all the negative reviews of the Inn's restaurant, we opted for an up-scale local place within walking distance (there are several) "Lahiere's" which was very nice and we would certainly go back.
So there you have it. You won't get the Ritz (or even close), but you'll get a quiet night's sleep and be a short walk from any place you need to be in Princeton.
