Days Inn Parsippany, Parsippany

Like many folks, I was trying to save some money by staying out of the City. My company is tight with the hotel allowance. On the other hand they pay for my rental car, and reimburse me for gas & parking. (I'll be driving in during off-peak hours). So I thought I had finally found a decent place for a decent price (seems the cheaper places around the Newark airport did not have good reviews). 1) I mis-read the prices: it's $60 to $70 for SMOKING & no WIFI and $80 to $90 for Non-smoking and WIFI. I reserved the latter for $80. I travel alot and usually inspect the room before moving in my baggage. In the first room,Room 248, one of the beds had what appeared to be urine stains on the sheets and hairs. So I informed the front desk and they gave me Rm 244. That one had what appeared to be blood stains on the mattress covers (visible through the sheets). It seems Mary Kay was staying there. I recommend they and anyone else stay somewhere else. Anyway told the front desk that I wanted to cancel my reservation and went to the Comfort Inn in Fairfield. Much better for $80 (same price). Days Inn staff were courteous but seemed some annoyed at my leaving. Oh well.
