Trump Plaza Hotel Casino, Atlantic City

I loved the hotel, the casino floors and entertainment. We brought the kids but had Sitters at the Shore come watch them while we played. What a relaxing night knowing all was well.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was no one available at check in counter when we walked in. Once we got our room, it was not cleaned properly. They have five elevators, but only two of them working during my entire stay there (two nights). People were waiting for about 15 minutes average to get to their floor. The parking is not free, the room service people were rude. I had paid extra since we were 4 people in one room, still we were only provided supplies for two people - Will never stay at any Trump hotel again.

I just returned from a weekend in Atlantic City and my first stay at the Trump Plaza will be my last. The first night, we were in a room where the man in the adjoining room was talking loudly on his cell phone until 2:30AM and was then up and talking very loudly at 7AM. I went to the front desk and asked to change rooms. We were told to come back later and they would move us. So we get a new room and we come back, exhausted and ready to sleep around 11:30 only to find out we have been put next door to a group of 4 young men who partied loudly until 1:30AM (I called the front desk who assured me they would send security up but that the hotel was full and they could not move us) then they left but they were back, very loudly at 4:45AM and then at 5:45AM, 2 of the guys who were apparently locked out started banging on the door and calling out the name Michael repeatedly. After 30 minutes of this, I called the front desk and security came up. At this point, with a total of 7 hours sleep for our entire weekend, we packed our bags to go home and sleep. Afetr waiting 30 minutes to talk to someone, the front desk manager, after listening to our story reluctantly agreed to discount the second night but told me he could not comp our room. So we paid over $400 for no sleep and a miserable vacation. We had been looking forward to this vacation for weeks and it was ruined!

My mother and daughter stayed there for one night and we enjoyed the place. Everything was right and on key. The beds were the best as was the people. The maids never speak against Donald Trump. They actually told us he walks around alot, and gives the maids cokes when he is there. He talks to them as if he is one of the joes. I highly respect this man for what I now know. His place is above board. The food was excellent.

Don't go to this hotel!!!! Either your room is not ready or you won't have a room at all because they consistently overbook the hotel! They are only interested in profit! Not Worth It! I booked a "standard room" with a king size bed for one night, check-in on Sunday was 6pm. Unfortunately, we encountered traffic due to road work and bad weather while traveling so we didn't arrive until about 8:30. However, check-in went pretty smoothly despite the wait. When we got to the room we discovered that we had been placed in a suite. The next morning, we had decided to stay another night considering the time we had arrived the night before. When I called the front desk to inform them of our decision they said that it would be fine as long as we paid for the suite they placed us in for the second night. I told them that I didn't mind paying for the room I originally booked for another night but that I would not pay for the suite when they gave my orignal "standard room" away. I made reservations for a reason, I expected to get the room I paid for. Just because they were only interested in making a profit, overbooked the hotel, gave my reserved room away, and subsequently had to place my in a suite is not my fault. I expressed to them that having to pack our belongings and move to another room was very inconvenient, however, they insisted that we move or pay the price! They even tried to tell me that the particular suite had been reserved for that night and unless we paid the full price for the suite and not just the "standard room" price that we had to move. They also said that we were "lucky" to have gotten a suite and not just a "sofa bed room", that some people who make reservations there have even had to be walked to another hotel because they have overbooked the hotel! The customer service is inexplicable!!! They bascially wanted us to pay for their carelessness!!! I didn't mind paying another night for the room I originally booked but I wasn't going to pay for the suite they had to give me because of their oversights!

We went there to celebrate our 7th yr. anniversary but since we don't have anybody to watch our twins we brought them with us. We are not gamblers so we will be using much of the facility than the casino. When i was looking for a hotel to reserve, I saw that they have an indoor pool, so I made the reservation straight on their website. I read on one of the reviews here that they only allow children in the pool area after 2pm which is fine with us. My children love swimming and since the weather is already starting to get cold the beach is not an option. Upon check in my daughter is already screaming to swim so the front desk heard me say that we are going to go to the pool as soon as we get the room. He nicely told us they don't allow children in the pool....huh? since when? It was not in their website! And the main reason for us to choose the hotel is their pool. I even put on my reservation that I have children. Much to my disappointment and my children's as well, we just make do of what we have. Good thing the weather was nice that weekend so I was able to bring them to the beach and let them play in the water for a little bit. As for the room they gave us, it's a bit small and oddly shape because it's in the corner. They were nice enough to give us a little view of the ocean though. The bathroom is roomy but i noticed that the fixtures are a little dated. The shower head need updating, c'mon it's not going to cost you that much for a little touch up. The location is great because it's in the center and close to everything. I didn't have problem with check-in and check-out. Yes, they're not as high tech as other hotel where you can check-out via the TV. They have a drop box for your room key in case you're in a hurry and any other charges will be done on your credit card.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was great and the location is perfect. I will recommend this hotel to everyone, and if I go to Atlantic City again, I will certainly stay at Trump.

everything was great went to gamble and won also for relaxation can't complain there it was very quiet. People where friendly . Food was perfect I love to eat and work at a resturant usually can finish my plate but the portions where to over the top got ocean view room for two with the cleanest bathroom ever before we unpacked i always look for problems usually I can find at least one but not here.Worth the money !!!

I like Trump Plaza to play Roulette Ballys. Jason

We had requested two double beds, ocean view, non-smoking. Supposedly electricity was down on 6 floors of the hotel and we were not given what we asked for. Changed rooms twice. Non-smoking rooms SMELL. They are unconcerned if smokers use non-smoking rooms and try to mask aroma with mega-air freshener. We were so unhappy we left early. Would not go back ever!
