Comfort Inn Edgewater., Edgewater

Expedia billed me on 4-4-09 and the hotel billed me on the morning I left 4-9-09. Now they each point to the other. I wouldn't recommend this hotel or Expedia for anything.

THIS IS A GREAT HOTEL !! YOU COULDN'T AASK FOR ANYTHING BETTER FOR THE PRICE. THE VIEW IS AWSOME EASY ACESS TO NYC . I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO SEE NYC!!!

This hotel is a great buy! Friendly helpful staff, safe area, clean comfortable rooms, inexpensive bus service to the 42nd street terminal in Manhattan ($3.80) and a breathtaking view across the water of Manhattan by night. Better than mid-town places which are twice the cost. Keep up the good job!

We stopped at this hotel with a group of our students on our class trip to New York City because it stated that it was very nice and had a great view of the skyline - the view was blocked by a massive boat the while time. The first thing wrong with the hotel is there are steps up to the entrance, so if you have heavy bags it sucks. Also, there is three floors, but no elevator! Bad idea. Breakfast was average, very small eating area and only a few items to choose from. The hotel smelled terribly of old smoke and wet dog the whole time we were there. Even for the price that we paid, I was expecting more for everyone. Next time I will make sure we get something nicer.

Not very fancy, but everything you need at hand. Good connection with the bus to New York. We stayed there for a week and it was just fine.

The room was extremely clean. There were plenty of towels. There was even a set of heat lamps in the bathroom. The service was wonderful. The people at the service desk put up with all of my questions and requests for directions. The location was perfect. We were going to Jacob Javitz and it was only a few minutes away. New York is literally around the corner.
