Good for the money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/09
For $60 bucks on a Friday 1 night in the room only to sleep it was a good choice. It could be a little cleaner and newer but hey its cheap. Besides you dont come to tahoe to hang out in the Days Inn motel.

Good value for the money

Don't believe the bad reviews. They are out of date. The new managers are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the beds confortable and the pool and jacuzzi pristine. Excellent location, close to the lake. It was a good deal for the price of $75.00 per night for two queen beds, including tax. I would stay again.

A really Bad choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/08
This place is one of the worst ive been in....once i got into the room i was surprised to see how dirty it was. The bathroom was terible, it had hairs all over the sink and shower. We also undid the bed and there was a ugly stain on the sheets. We called the front desk to tell them how bad the room was but the lady named Maria took about half an hour to do something about it . Trust me this place isnt worth the $120 i payed for. Dont ever stay here!!!!

Avoid this place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
The property looks good from the street; however, the room wasn't dirty, it was filthy! The carpets were badly stained and layers of caked on dust and dirt where in places too small for a standard sized upright vacuum to reach, but that were clearly visible. The workers were very nice; however, after 10 pm there is no one at the front desk. At 10:30 that night we found a bed bug in the bed, but with no one at the front desk to help, we were stuck having to deal with it ourselves. After tearing down the beds and finding no more bugs, we tried to get some sleep, but it was not a restful night. No one showed up at the front desk until 7:30 am the next morning. We had bagged the bug and presented it to the clerk with our room keys, and were given a partial refund. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Keep looking!

A truly disgusting experience!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/24/07
All I can say about this place is that it is DISGUSTING!!! When we first got to our hotel room, we noticed the horrible smell emitting from it. It smelled like cigars, which is interesting considering it was supposed to be a NON-smoking room. Yep, the put us in the wrong room after being emphatic about reserving a non-smoking room. Wait, it gets better. When we went to get into the shower, there was mold growing in it. Since we paid approximately $200 for a one night stay, I didn't expect that it would be so unkept. Downright dirty, in fact. Then, the toilet paper hadn't been changed prior to using the room. Therefore, we ran out within a few hours of being there. Then, when we called to have them bring more, it took another hour or more for them to bring us a new roll!! Meanwhile, my friend had to use the restroom and had to decidedly "drip dry", if you know what I mean. To top it all off, when we finally went to bed only to find hairs on the sheets!! Ick! My friend actually slept in her clothes. Needless to say, after all of this, I will NEVER go back or reccommend this hotel to anyone!!! Don't stay here!

Not a nice place to stay...
By Jaz K, 11/29/06
Even though it is close to lake, its not worth staying here as the rooms we stayed in seemed unclean with a very old carpet and the bathroom was very basic and rundown. We paid $120 for a night and believe it is only worth $40 or less. The bed was not comfortable as well and the room had a bad smell. Stay Away!!

Best Rate Guarantee was no guarantee at all!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
I was guaranteed, in writing, of a free room based upon the Best Rate Guarantee program but the local hotel refused to honor it. In fact, they tried to charge me double the price I originally booked the room for. Avoid this hotel and their 'tactics' at all costs.

the room was too empty, no microwave, no coffee, no fridge.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/30/05
the room was clean and acceptable for overnight stay. The pool was clean and fresh. the room was not acomodating for day use. there was no coffee, no refridgerator, no microwave, and the TV service was poor choices. i will not stay here again.
