MGM Grand Bedding
By Brittany, 4/20/12
I loved the bedding. It was to die for! I felt as if I was sleeping on a cloud!! Downlite is the company that manufacturers the bedding for the MGM Grand, and I ordered bedding for my own personal use! I would definitely check it out their website!!

Not Very Good !
Let me start by stating what i did like about the hotel... the bed was very comfortable and the down comforter was very nice.. also the poker room ran some very nice cash games and the poker room staff was very attentive. now for the negative. we booked a complete vacation package from Southwest Vacations which was supposed to be a paid in full package. upon arriving we were asked for another $112 for resort fees $22.40 per night. this charge was not properly disclosed to us and the clerk was not willing to budge at all on it, so i was trapped into paying it. the first night while i was playing poker and my wife was playing slots she ordered a coffee and after and hour of waiting she got tired and just went back to the room.. another night we were playing slots and wanted to order a drink but no watress came by for over 40 minutes. i saw a floor manager and asked if he could find us a watress but he basically said she would be around when she got around and he walked off... that was the last we played in the MGM Grand. Hope this review is helpfull

I hate when people write bad reviews just to write bad reviews. Location great, restaurants great, clubs great and just the ambiance in general. Stay here trust me it is worth it!!

Terrible service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/11
They could not find our hotel reservation and forced us to call our third party to resolve the issue. There were no apologies for the over an hour long wait when our reservation "magically" appeared. West wing forces you to walk through the first floor hallway, which is poorly lighted and has depressing grey walls, to get to the elevators. The room was not worth the price we paid. The bathroom has no lock, the window is behind the bed so looking at the view is nearly impossible, and our sheets were stained and dirty when we arrived. Im a little over 5 feet and my feet stucked out of the bed. Those beds are extremely short. The hotel was so packed at times that certain parts couldn't even be walked through anymore. And to top off my first time in Vegas and a celebration trip for my birthday, they charged me the resort fee when my name isn't even the one on the reservation.

will be going back!
By Nina, 12/29/11
Very spacious rooms, newer more comfortable beds, and the room service was superior. We needed a mini fridge and had one up within minutes, plugged in and ready to go. From check in to check out the staff was very professional and accommodating. This hotel was an overall wonderful stay. Cannot come up with any cons to this trip.

Cruel to have lions in lobby!
By Linda Gottwald, 11/5/11
Went to see the david Copperfield show, initself a disappoint, Copperfield seemed tired, jaded and had an obvious disdain for the audience. Bad enough to leave after shelling out big bucks for a magician show that was no netter than bar mitzvah entertainment...then saw the poor live lion encased in glass, bored and reduce to being a window decoration for tourists....Someone call PETA!

Great Stay!!!!!!
By brian, 11/2/11
Me and my wife recently stayed six nights at the MGM Grand. We had a great time. We arrived on a saturday at the airport and took advantage of the check in kiosk they have at the baggage claim area. We were able to get our room keys there and also set up our shuttle service. This saved us so much time because the check-in at the hotel seemed very busy. We had called a couple weeks early to reconfirm our reservation and at that time we requested a room closer to the elevator and a strip view. Our room did not disapoint and we had a spacious room on the 23rd floor with a great view. The room was clean and the cleaning crew had the room in tip top shape. Not that you spend much time in your room anyway. We took in a couple shows while at the MGM, we saw Ka and Crazyhorse. Ka was a great show and would highly recommend it, story was a little hard to follow though. Crazyhorse was what you would expect from a more adult vegas show, I would recommend it if that's up your alley. The buffet at the MGM was awesome, we had great service, food was great, and not that bad a price for what you get. Really all you need to eat is two buffetts a day and we were all set. We also ate at the Rainforest Cafe, good food with a value price, we enjoyed it and the fishtanks there are exquisite. We also ate at Nobhill, very nice place and had prices to match. Food was very good, had to find out what a $60 dollar steak would taste like. And it tasted good. I would also take advantage of the player card thing they have there, we gambled alot there but at the other casinos that accept it also. We used the comps on it and really reduced the price of the room. I would highly recommend it. Since this was our first time in Vegas and haven't had any experience playing the table games we were a little shy to say the least. But each time we approached a new game the dealers were all very personable and helped explain the games and the nuances as to what to do and what not to do. I would say that we actually did not have any rude service from anyone at the MGM over all seven days that we were there. Service, attitude and courtesy were always present. I would highly recommend staying here as we definetely will in the future for our next trip to Las Vegas.

Turned off and disappointed
By Klf, 8/12/11
Booked this hotel and planned my trip out with a budget....upon arrival, I was whacked with a $22 fee a day resort fee. Therefore an additional $75 Mind you, I did not use the internet, gym, or read the newspaper. This set the tone for me, and I found it on a different part of the website later that this "could" happen. Therefore, for paying what we did each night with the resort fee included, I would have expected the room to be more updated than it was. I will search around in the future as we have choices when it comes to hotels, and look for one that is up to date and honest.

Gross
By enid, 8/9/11
I stayed at the MGM for 3 days for business. I was put in a room on the 10th floor and when I got inside I noticed a red stain that resembled blood on the carpet, bedding and bed skirt. Called management and essentially got the "too bad, hotel is full". It took a phone call from my employer to get me moved to a cleaner but smokier room. The rooms had stained carpet, stained bedding and cig burns on the carpet. It was really gross and won't stay here again.
