Horrible Stay
By ,
I book two renovated rooms at the MGM. One from 7-8-12 to 7-12-12 and the other from 7-9-12 to 7-12-12 room. One thing after another has made this my worst stay at any hotel. As I get home, I am still dealing with billing mistakes from the hotel. The issues that I had to deal with are as follows: • Broken blinds in room in which the motor needed to be replaced • Water shut off from 11am to 4pm for both rooms on 7-9. • Leaking water around toilet in room.. • Unable to get my 2nd room until sometime after 3pm on 7-9. • Power outage on 7-9/7-10 for approximately 3-4 hours. • Missing cell phone from room. Report filed with security. • Billing issues for both rooms. Received print out upon check out and received an email invoice billing more than the print out received at check out. • Misinformation on the amount of dining credit I had available. Needless to say this was the worst experience that I had during any hotel stay. What I don’t understand is that the rooms were recently remodeled. The problems that I experienced should not have happened if everything was inspected before releasing the room to a guest.

Started not so good ended great
By ,
Like others was given an older room that had several issues noted - soiled carpet, broken lamps, etc. Checked at desk the morning after check in and told to come back at check out time. Came back and was told there were no renovated rooms available. Remained civil, patient and came back a bit later and was upgraded to a suite for an additional fee that ended up being a wash - the clerk removed resort fee. Would return.

I will not stay in this hotel
By ,
My stay at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas was not a good one. First my room was trashed from the guest before and I had to switch rooms. The guest before smoked inside the room, spilled beer all over the carpet, TV didn't work, cigars ashes laying inside the drawers and the bedding smelled. I asked to switch rooms and they apologies. Instead of me moving to more update room they kept me in the old rooms... then when I went downstairs to have a drink and play a couple games I was harassed by hookers and no staff cared enough to get rid of them. I complained at the front desk when I departed and it was the same response I got from several of your staff... we are sorry. Thats it! I remember staying in Vegas in years past a complaint always dealt with immediately and was resolved. Not this time... I will never stay with MGM group again.

MGM Grand Bedding
By ,
I loved the bedding. It was to die for! I felt as if I was sleeping on a cloud!! Downlite is the company that manufacturers the bedding for the MGM Grand, and I ordered bedding for my own personal use! I would definitely check it out their website!!

Not Very Good !
Let me start by stating what i did like about the hotel... the bed was very comfortable and the down comforter was very nice.. also the poker room ran some very nice cash games and the poker room staff was very attentive. now for the negative. we booked a complete vacation package from Southwest Vacations which was supposed to be a paid in full package. upon arriving we were asked for another $112 for resort fees $22.40 per night. this charge was not properly disclosed to us and the clerk was not willing to budge at all on it, so i was trapped into paying it. the first night while i was playing poker and my wife was playing slots she ordered a coffee and after and hour of waiting she got tired and just went back to the room.. another night we were playing slots and wanted to order a drink but no watress came by for over 40 minutes. i saw a floor manager and asked if he could find us a watress but he basically said she would be around when she got around and he walked off... that was the last we played in the MGM Grand. Hope this review is helpfull

Terrible service
By ,
They could not find our hotel reservation and forced us to call our third party to resolve the issue. There were no apologies for the over an hour long wait when our reservation "magically" appeared. West wing forces you to walk through the first floor hallway, which is poorly lighted and has depressing grey walls, to get to the elevators. The room was not worth the price we paid. The bathroom has no lock, the window is behind the bed so looking at the view is nearly impossible, and our sheets were stained and dirty when we arrived. Im a little over 5 feet and my feet stucked out of the bed. Those beds are extremely short. The hotel was so packed at times that certain parts couldn't even be walked through anymore. And to top off my first time in Vegas and a celebration trip for my birthday, they charged me the resort fee when my name isn't even the one on the reservation.

will be going back!
By ,
Very spacious rooms, newer more comfortable beds, and the room service was superior. We needed a mini fridge and had one up within minutes, plugged in and ready to go. From check in to check out the staff was very professional and accommodating. This hotel was an overall wonderful stay. Cannot come up with any cons to this trip.
