The rooms had a bad smell and carpets stained-light bulbs burnt out -floor lamps bent and shade smashed in -bath tub drained very slow -non-smoking ya right!!!! patio door hardware broken as we could not open the door!!! stay at a motel six it is a step above there normal rooms here!! we had to upgrade to a luv tub room for twenty bucks a night just to get a room that was not trashed. well no resort fee sure but if you want to hit the treadmill for a bit it will set you back ten bucks a day now for the good (the bell hop was very good in finding us a room that was better THANKS TOM

We had gotten the room comped and had never stayed here before. When we walked into the room there was an awful smell. We checked the bathroom and the toilet had backed up into the tub where there was waste floating. We went downstairs and told them what was wrong and they said they would move us to a nicer room where they usually put the serious gamblers. Were we in for a surprise when we walked in to the room and it was the same as the one before. Nothing changed. I will never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We usually stay at Harrah's but decided to give this a try. Big mistake.

Myself, my fiancee and 1 month old baby were staying here for one week until our apartment was ready. On the very first night someone walked in to our room, while we were asleep and stole exactly $6,150 from my pants pocket. They moved them from the bedside to the bathroom, and went through our wallets. The ONLY people that could have known about this was hotel employees. This was not a lucky find. We were moving there and needed to deposit this $ into a Vegas bank that day. The only time I took the $ out was at check in to pay for the room. There is so much more to this story and like the others on here, the insurance company did nothing but deny the claim. Security rude and hotel employees didnt care. This is an inside job and I am looking to start a class action lawsuit ASAP. I need more people to contact me to get this going. We lost our livelihood and had to move back to start over. Waited in line over an hour to check in, I thought a bus had unloaded ahead of us. The check in girl says it is always that way. Sitting in bed watching TV, a cockroach crawled across the nightstand. I killed it with the remote, couldnt get the front desk on the phone ever to complain. Called housekeeping, she didnt even seem surprised or offer an apology. Manager basically was indifferent about the cockroach also, never offered any other room, comps nothing. Elevators are terrible, way too small, you have to wait a long time to get in one. Ate at the Burger Palace on the 3rd floor, walls in our booth had food stains and what looked like boogers stuck on the wall. That was it, we put the food down and bailed out. Will never go back. I was on the 16th floor, cockroaches start out on ground level, so you know the whole place must be infested. Ive stayed in hotels in 3rd world countries that put this place to shame.

I arrived at the hotel tired and ready to relax. Instead I was forced to wait in line FOR ONE HOUR just to check in! Yup, with the other cattle I lined up in the noisy, smoky casino/lobby to check in around 5 pm on a Monday. I complained to the manager who basically told me, "do you see anyone else complaining?" Plus, the toilet never stopped running in the two hellish nights I was there. Never again will I stay at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.

The location can't be beat. The Imperial palace is in the middle of everything. The rooms are basic but clean & the beds were sooo comfy. Hash House A Go Go is delish!!!

I will never stay at IP again UNLESS it is paid for by someone else. It is like they plunked a Holiday Inn or HOJO's in the middle of the strip (even though at least they have a microwave or coffee machine in the rooms). The only thing going for IP is the location. Basically the buildiing is dirty and outdated. The elevators (towers 1 - 4) are terrible. During prime times I waited as much as 10 minutes to take one. When I checked out I walked down from the 8th floor with my suitcase because I got sick of waiting for an elevator. The other reviewers were not kidding about the check in wait time. It took us 90 minutes to check in on a Wednesday !!! There always seemed to be a line at check in no matter the time of day.

I enjoyed the location of the Imperial Palace and the pool. It served the basic purpose of a base of operation for our Vegas adventure. The rooms themselves were very very basic and there was a few noticeable pellets left by I can only assume vermin

had a pleasant stay..i would rate it 3.5 on 5...not too good and not too bad too...jus fine overall :)

Worst , in EVERY way.......Dirty Dirty and Smelly....2 hour wait at 2 in the morning for check in....onlything good is location....would rather stay far away than here....never again !!!!
