Holiday Lodge, Hawthorne

Your hosts are very personal and willing to work with whatever your needs were. We were running late and they held our room. The rooms are very spacious... plenty of room for all our luggage and had coffee. Very nice chinese restaurant across the street and the casino is in walking distance. I would definitely come back here. The staff was very friendly and accomadating... much better than those 4 star hotels in vegas. Plus it only cost us $45 a night. A Must Stay! If you're traveling through the area.

The FREE high speed DSL is a huge plus. Additionally, the beds were extremely comfortable with very soft blankets. They have coffee pots (with coffee) in the rooms. The television was huge (27 inches) and the room was very clean. I would highly recommend this motel to everyone. It is the best rates and rest in town!

1950's vintage building including the telephones and that was acceptable. No ice machine (needed in Nevada most of the year), no vending machine, no HBO, and most of all NO SOAP! It's BYO soap and shampoo or use the liquid soap dispensers labeled "Eurosoap" whatever that was supposed to be. Quite difficult to get enough to shower in. May be ok for washing hands at sink. Telephone ringer was so soft I could barley hear it and there were no adjustments. Was quiet and I slept well. Management very cheery, helpful and polite.
