Two Visits in One....First and LAST!!!

The room we booked was supposed to be a handicapped room near the elevators as my mother is 84 years old. What we ended up with was the last room you could get before going out the fire door at the far end of the hall. When we requested another room, we were informed none were available, but to "check back in a day or so." Then the A/C wasn't working very well, but couldn't seem to get anyone up to the room to fix it.
We finally rented a car and drove to Tahoe and spent a day there, only to find that the Diamond Lounge was closed because of a celebrity golf game. We were informed it was only open for the celebrities and their entourage...(if they weren't Diamond or 7 star players, they shouldn't have been in there) They offered us tickets to go out on the Harrah Star and take a cruise around Lake Tahoe... Sounded great. Until we got to the dock and found out the motor was out on the boat and would not be repaired for at least 2-3 days. Giving up we went BACK to Reno. We were then given tickets to the Show being performed there. It was wonderful.....but 30 minutes into the show the control board blew a fuse and the show was cancelled until the next night....of course, we were scheduled to return home the following day.
I will never return there or recommend it to my friends. As a Diamond player, I was appalled at the treatment we received. Harrah's needs to look at themselves and remember who helped them get as big as they have become.
