Rats not enough you have to get three before your really full, we only saw two a day, and the fridge did not work so you cant even save them up. If your on a tight budget an love Rat ant Rattattoui this Hotel will not disappoint.

Will go back and get a great deal a second time!

I loved the price that we paid. The shark swimming pool is a one of a kind. We spend alot of time in the pool area. The common areas were spotless. The room was clean with a 46" plasma. The only thing that we did not like, they charge for local phone calls. Freemont Street was exciting and inviting. We felt very safe in the hotel and on Freemont Street. We left our car parked and took the bus every place we went away from the Nugget. The bus transit was $7/day. We will go back and save money in the plush rooms at the Golden Nugget.

My wife and I made our first trip to Vegas and stayed at the Nugget because we had heard good things. From the start it was an overall poor experience. We couldn't get a dealer to smile to save thier life. Drinks at the pool take a minimum of 20 minutes. Lines at the restaurants are outrageous, and misleading, the food was not that good. Zaks had probably the worst service and food we have ever experienced, and we have been in the hospitality industry for a combined 23 years. Staff was short to say the least. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

I love this hotel so much!! It was perfect!!! I stayed there 3 nights and couldn't have asked for more. It is about a 5 min drive to the strip but soo worth it.

The location was perfect and the staff went out of their way to assist us with information on ski packages, tours and shopping. The service was great! The complimentary breakfast was a real treat and a money saver. We met other guests from all over the United States and enjoyed visiting with them.

Top Ten Pools? No Way.

The pool aquarium is cool. Kids are facinated by it. The fish are interesting. The pool ittself is nothing special though. The water slid throught the fish tank isn't that great. The Cabanas arent even near the pool, they are upstairs above the pool. I didnt like it at all. I can say I have stayed there but probably never will again.

I am going to next month but not golen nugget. because i couldent find it.

Like 1. clean a round 2.nice very good food. 3. cigarettes smoking area verry crean when i game next people smoking. 4. almost like this hotel even my wife too. we went four time. Dislike 1. very hard to find pacage trip. and room . EVEN this time too.agent say golden nugget Dosent have it.

All these reviews are VERY old...I've read many newer reviews with many raves. I'm booked for a stay in July '09 and I hope that THE GOLDEN NUGGET lives up to their most recent reviews. Got my fingers crossed and my expectations on high. Patrick C.

Nightmare!

My husband and I came from L.A.We have stayed in many other hotel in Las Vegas.This is THE WORST by far!We have dirty room,food with hair in our pasta at expansive Grotto restaurant,dirty and smelly pool!We complaint but the management has a very bad attitude and sure did not make us feel like a guest in their hotel.Terrible experience!Better to stay in gold coast or Harrah chain hotel!
