Agree with "Horrible Experience"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/9/11
Horrible noisy freeway ~ had to turn on the noisy heater to try to drown it out. The heater couldn't heat the room because the door had so much freezing air coming thru it. I had to put my suitcase on the floor by the door to try to block it. Old bed linens that need to be replaced. All the clocks in the room were wrong, the hairdryer had a crack in it, the coffeemaker was obviously dirty, the tub filled with water while showering and the room had an old style tv. Checked out the next morning instead of staying for the 3 nights reserved. I honestly don't like leaving a bad review for a business but truly the pictures are definately taken in the best possible circumstance. It was not good and any more than a rate of $35 a night is unacceptalbe.

horrible experience !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/08
Freeway noise was unbearable, could not sleep. Front desk unfriendly at best, unwilling to change rooms. Comp breakfast was a joke, rooms were dirty, parking lot trashy, and criminal activity throughout the night. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ! I would rather sleep in my car in a rest area than book a room at the Days Inn Reno.

It was ok.
By Dora, 7/10/07
The hotel was ok, the only thing i didn't like was that there wasn't enough parking but other than that it was ok, and it was close to the casinos.

Would stay here again.
By vegaskelly, 3/4/07
I recently stayed here with some friends on a weekend trip to Reno. It was a trip built on very short notice so by the time we looked for rooms there weren't too many under 150.00 a night. The reason I originally booked this hotel was because it was dog friendly and we had planned on driving and bringing our dogs. It didn't end up working that way but it was still the cheapest room rate we could get at 59 a night. After reading the reviews here I was prepared to ask for a room on the other side of the highway but of course forgot. It didn't end up being an issue for me as I prefer white noise while I sleep and the sound of the fan in the room drowned out any of the highway noise. For what we wanted the hotel for it more than served it's needs. It had a variety of TV channels and the high speed wireless internet worked perfectly. It was only a six dollar cab ride to Circus Circus and the Denny's across the street was within walking distance. Since there was no place to eat at the hotel itself, we used that. I'm used to staying downtown while in Vegas and this reminded me a lot of a downtown room. Overall it was a clean place to sleep and shower in between jaunts to the casinos. :)

never ever again
By anonymous, 1/8/07
We needed to stay close to the Livestock Events Center, which this was, but other than the location this hotel was awful. It was dirty, falling apart, and the staff was rude rude rude. Upon checking in the man at the desk was staring at the movie playing behind me, commenting on the fact that I was interupting his favorite part. Next time we will stay at the Motel 6, Holiday Inn, or the EconoLodge in the same area but never here again. We stayed at the Holiday Inn down the street previously for not much more and that was a MUCH better experience!!!

Value value value....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/06
Excellent value and very nice staff. Just ask for a room on the non-freeway side... and oh...the wireless internet access in the rooms was blazing fast...i got 3 Mbps down which is way better than most hotels i've been to!!

Good Stay...will go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/06
High speed internet was the reason we stayed here and we were pleasantly surprised for the quality of the rooms in compared to the price of the hotel. Most places in Reno at this price range are pretty crummy, but the room we stayed in was a smaller version of one of the Downtown Hotel rooms.

Excellent Value and Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/30/06
I travel through Reno all the time and have settled into staying at the Days Inn Reno. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the people working there are very nice! It's true that there are some rooms on the highway side which may be noisy for some, but the rooms on the opposite side of the building are perfectly quiet. Just request a room on that side and you're good to go. Many of the rooms have been renovated recently and are very nice. I usually get a deluxe room for little more giving me nicer decor, a fridge/microwave, and a room above the pool. One of the reviewers seems to making up information however as the continental breakfast does NOT consist of Safeway bought doughnuts. Instead it's a simple breakfast of freshly delivered danishes, toast, coffee, and juice. I think the Danishes are made by Svenhardt's, but I'm not sure...but they are good enough to get me going in the mornings! Compared to other hotels in it's rate class, this property is head and shoulders above the rest.
