Will come back
By Jaime, 8/18/07
Very convenient, lots of parking. Parking close to room. Accessible. No need to drag all luggages to elevators, walkways, various bldgs, multiple floor levels, etc... Food average. Big rooms. I have 2 kids (both below 10yrs old). Good price. Clean. Will come back.

Convenient to Las Vegas Convention Center
By berry, 10/16/05
I would like to comment on a couple of things about the Best Western Mardi Gras in Las Vegas. It is convenient to the Las Vegas Convention Center. Within great walking distance. Things that I did not like was the roach bug that was crawling on the bathroom wall. The face board on the sink was not finished. Exposing the wood. The toilet dispenser roll was crooked and loose. The refriderator door did not completely close to keep our soda's cold. The safe in the room did not have a pin so that we could use it, it also was dusty and dirty, if we were suppose to ask for a pin for the safe they did not tell us. We had two card keys to the room and one of them did not work to open the door to get into our room. The resturant seem to be clean, but they did not get my food order right, my bread for my tuna sandwhich was dry and hard. Another customer there at the resturant had been waiting for service at the bar to buy a beer he went to ask when he would be waited on because the bartneder ignored him and they told him he had to have patience and to go sit at a table. There were only 3 people at the bar, and 2 other couples waiting to be served. He was there before the 2 other couples. I do believe there was prejudice because the gentleman was black. Just to let you know we are not black. They had a bartender and 2 waitress's and 1 waiter working. Finally, when checking out, none of the staff asked how our stay was. So that is why I am sending you my comments here online. I would of told them but they did not seem interested.

The worst Best Western I ever stayed at!
By Happily Married, 10/13/09
The room was dirty, stinky and the motel was loud and noisy. They ran the laundry machines until 1:00am which were extremely noisy. The sink & shower drains smelled like a sewer! Their employees congregated outside our bedroom door at 8:30am and were fighting and arguing for about 1/2 hour and they were very loud! Worst Best Western Ever!!!

Not going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/1/07
Hotel has one elevator in the front and if your room is on the other side, you will still use stairs even after using elevator. Room is old, dirty and smells. Not even worth the money.Only good thing is that your close to the Convention. Not planning on going back there anymore...

Good value for the price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/4/04
The price for a Saturday I got is good. The location is very close to the strip but the rate is a lot lower.

Rude people
By ConnieP, 7/23/07
Best Western Mardi Gras Vegas gives you false impression from their web site. I don't know how anyone would rate this over 2 stars. Some of the staff was very rude when I ask about a shuttle to the airport, said it didn't start until 8:00 and to get a cab if I needed to get there sooner. It is far from the monorail and the "virtual tour" on the website makes you believe different. There is nothing "free" at this place unless - like any casino - if your playing the slots drinks are "free". The breakfast was $8.++ too much for what is there. We had to ask for wash-clothes, shampoo. The alarm clock didn't work.
