Holiday Inn Midtown, Grand Island

For all that read this review take my advise and don't stay here. I have had the worst experience at this hotel. The girls at the front desk are very rude. I am a priority club member and they made me stand there for 20 minutes to check in. I was the only one in the lobby at the time. They never apoligized for the wait, they were on a phone call which sounded like a private one. When I finally got to my room it was very cold, When I pulled back the patio door drapes the door was open about an inch. When I called the front desk there replies was "what do you want me to do about it." After I got settled in I went to the restaurant for dinner and had yet another terrible experience. I stood waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes. I could hear laughter coming from the back. I finally sat myself and waited. After a few minutes a dark hair girl came out talking on a cell phone, when she saw me she told the other person in the phone that she would call her right back. When she came to my table she acted like I was interupting her evening. When she asked me what I wanted I said another waitress, she just stood there and stared at me so I got up and walked out. Is this how these people run a Hotel. This happened on January 5th, 2010. I will not be staying at this Hotel ever again. They have incompitant people working here.

Very nice place to gather for family functions, I like the pool and hot tub, overall great place to stay. Close to a lot family thing to do like the water park and Fonner park. The service was very good and helped out when you needed anything.

We love this hotel! Its clean,fun,cool an affordable resteraunt,awesome pool and hot tub, great location, nice clean rooms, this hotel was not outdated, the resteraunt was beautiful; The whole hotel was beautiful! Oh, and it was very affordable. If your going to a trip to Grand Island, this is the place to stay! Our kids love it! We are planning to go back in a couple weeks! Oh, and did I mention the people that work there are very friendly! By the pool, they have mini golf, ping pong, and a pool table! It was Awesome! Cant wait to go back! Trust me, stay here! You will build memorys here like you cant imagine! The only thing I wish, is, they should allow pets. Our dog doesnt shed, he is potty trained, and he doesnt make noise unless there is an emergency. That is the only problem there. Who knows, they might allow pets some day. I hope. I rate this hotel as a 5 star hotel! Actually, a 10 star! Enjoy your stay here! Trust me, you will!

Very nice hotel. The ambiance was very pleasant with a nice swatch of purple and Oreo colored carpet. The food was simply divine, and I thought the ice buckets were of substantial size to make the perfect martini. We most loved the beds, and they were very comfortable; I could hardly feel any springs poking me while I slept. The air-conditioning in the rooms was wonderful and provided a tornado like effect that lulled us to sweet dreams. Thank you so much, and we will be back VERY soon.

Very clean and nice. Quiet. Has all the amenities. Will stay here again! Indoor pool, bar, restaurant, free newspaper at the front desk, good value. Surprisingly clean rooms. :-)
