New World Inn And Conf Cntr, Columbus

From the first time we checked in for a wedding, it was very clear that these people were working there on a court order! The place is filthy, service was awful! awful! awful! I am embarrased for my family that stayed in this trap. There was a couple in the wedding party that even had to crash another party in the hotel just to get a drink because the bar lounge had no help! Find another place to stay or bring a tent! The food that they served will give you a movement you will never forget!

Would never go back again .. two mice found in our room notified front desk and took over an hour to get there then told us to put towels across the bottom of the door, like that is going to do any good!!! Then offer a 20% discount ...whatever, and rooms where stinky!!! Totallly gross!!

Pros - near friends we were visiting Cons - There was a drunk, noisy group (wedding party?) on our floor and management refused to correct the problem after we reported it several times. It lasted until 4 A.M. so we got little sleep. When we checked out we asked for a reduced rate, which management refused.

I was really disappointed in this motel. We stayed for 2 nights and our trash was never emptied, no clean towels were brought to our room and the beds were never made. This was poor service and not worth the money we paid to stay here. We would not select this motel again.

On September 4th I had my Quinceanera in the New World Inn. Every one that went loved the place and said it was great. Although I really wish that it had a pool I think that the New World Inn is the best place to stay in Columbus. The room I had was great it was nice and clean. The location is also great and convenient. The person in the front desk was real nice and patient me and my family. I really recommend the New World Inn.

Well, to begin the hotel clerk was friendly....Okay, now for the bad news...We asked where is the swimming pool. The clerk said oh, did you see that on our website? Of course we commented yes. She said that they do not have one anymore and that alot of people get upset when we tell them. Next, I noticed we had no shower curtain and when we asked for one we were told they were all out of them!!! How do you run out of shower curtains???? Also the air conditioner was was loud and took at least 2 hours to cool the room and this was set on high cool. For $59.00 I really would like a shower curtain and if you pay for 3 adults I think you should have coffee service for 3 adults...Also 3 adults would like more than 3 very old thin towels for their shower curtainless shower the next morning. Whatever you do not stay here.....

I stayed at the New World Inn on Mar.5th. I checked into room 270. Went up to my room and the card would not open the door,so I went back down and they said they had put the wrong # on the card. Sunday I checked out and said I was going up to pack and head out. I got up to my room and the card would not open my door. I went back down and the clerk said I put it in my purse next to my credit card and that cancelled it out. I had it in my hip pocket. She put the #back on the card,went back and it still wouldn't open the door,went back down and she said ,oh I must have put the wrong # on it. I went back up and it finally opened the door.
