Will definately be staying here again.
By ,
I had to stay in Missoula for tests at St. Patrick's and we were completely in need of lodging that was moderate and clean. They gave me a medical discount. I am ever grateful to them for that. I have more tests next week and we will be staying there again. They were friendly and we even got a very clean, newly remodlled, king bed room. Loved it hope we get the same room next time.

Would never stay here again!
By ,
I was travelling through Montana camping with 3 kids and wife when the family got colds. We decided to go into Missoula and get a hotel. After going to many nicer hotels and finding out that they were all booked up we ended up going to a Motel 6 which was also full but they referred us to Brooks Street Motor Inn. Motel 6 said that "the Motor Inn was much nicer and newer than the Motel 6". I was hesitant but decided to give it a shot. First problem was that it was located on the complete other side of town than the nicer, newer hotels. The check in process was very unprofessional but friendly. The room was very gross. It was very dark, very dirty and very banged up. The walls had scuffs everywhere and just in bad shape. I didn't even let the kids shower. Unless you don't care about cleanlieness or quality and are simply looking for a roof over your head I do not recommend this Motel.

Was one problem that grossed me out, i think there was feces on the bathroom wall, you could tell someone put their finger in it then wiped it on the wall. i was hpoing not.. I would stay there again, just check the room out bettter, but yes i would recomend it.

good value
By ,
I LIKE THIS PLACE, I'VE COME BACK HALF A DOZEN TIMES IN THE PAST 7-8 YEARS! IT'S VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, CLEAN, THINGS WORK AND I'VE ALWAYS ENCOUNTERED PLEASANT DESK STAFF. I AM BRITISH, LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND COME TO THE USA FOR VACATIONS MOST YEARS. I LIKE MISSOULA, HOTEL IS IN A GOOD POSITION FOR RESTAURANTS AND SHOPPING AND IT IS QUIET. IT DOES NOT HAVE A LOT OF AMENITIES ON SITE BUT YOU GET FRESH COFFEE AND MUFFINS IN THE MORNING.IF YOU WANT/NEED A BUSINESS HOTEL WITH INTERNET, FAX MACHINES ETC.GO ELSEWHERE AND PAY THE MUCH HIGHER PRICES

Good value

It's kind of old, it's not pretty. It is clean and the staff was friendly. Good steak house across the parking lot, big beers and fantastic steaks. The motel hasn't been updated, my room had freaky red carpet. Good price and quiet.

Great value

Wow. Responding to the prior post: Anything else you want to complain about?? Gas prices?? The man keeping you down?? My goodness why don't we just nitpick everything and trash talk a perfectly normal business. The fact of the matter is this motel is THE CHEAPEST rate I could find in Missoula using a variety of resources. It's clean and a friendly staff. I can't believe you would expect a small business like that to call a tech support person for their wireless network on a Sunday for one person (selfish lately?). You seem like a completely unreasonable person that seeks out cheap stays and then complains about everything when your only paying $40 per room. I've enjoyed staying there often. I've never had a problem with the internet. It's cost effective. Maybe next time you should pitch a tent and then moan to mother nature about how it was cold outside and she should make it hotter because by waking up to a sunrise that morning she made a contract with you to have free warm weather.

Best Value - Great customer service!
Awesome prices and a good location if your coming in from highway 93. Close to the mall and several places to eat nearby. I'm a mac user and sometimes I have problems connecting to wireless networks. To my suprise the desk clerk was very knowledgeable and helped me get connected without any problems. However responding to a previous post. There is no hot tub, and they do not allow pets.

Need to learn what service means
By ,
I've stayed at this property regularly for over 4 years. They were slow in getting wireless internet, so for a part of that 4 years I stayed at a property that had wireless. (Internet is very important to my business.) However, about a year ago they installed wireless so I resumed my stays there. This visit I learned that they do not understand the meaning of 'Service'. Their wireless Internet was not working properly and because it was a Sunday, they had no one to call for repairs. (I know for a fact there are services that will make service calls on Sunday, it was just that the motel didn't want to go to the trouble or expense.) Their attitude was that since the sign said "Free Wireless Internet", it wasn't something they were required to provide reliably. They couldn't understand that when a business entices a customer to patronize them with a "Free" offer, that "Free" offer because part and parcel of the contract between the customer and the business. They don't charge extra for water either, so I guess on could say that it is "Free". If their water went off on a Sunday, would the Sunday guests just have to do without. In addition, the elderly owners, although they live on premises, take a hands off attitude toward the property. There is a manager who visits the property only a couple of days a week for a few hours, and beyond that seems to take the attitude that he cannot be bothered with the property other than to come by and collect the money once and a while. Likewise with the owners. So long as the money is good, they seem to not be interested in the satisfaction of the customer. The lack of a manager who is regularly on site, and the hands off attitude of the on site owners, leaves the property in the hands of minimum wage desk clerks, who have little if any authority to correct deficiencies and even less incentive. All in all, if you are looking for a place to get out of the weather, I guess so long as the roofs don't leak this place will do. But heaven help you if a service or function that is important to you fails during your stay. Your chances of getting satisfaction appear to be non-existant.
