We stayed 2 years ago. We saw like 3 cocroaches, we went as a group and 1 of the familys had sitting moldy water in her tub. The pool water feel like it was in a suna and the hot tub water was hot, as hot as the pool. Never again.

Not bad if you like toilets that don't flush with a black ring around them. Hot tub was freezing cold and after 45 minutes had to sit in the tub with a hose that was added hot water to the tub. The pool was very warm. Did I mention it was very pricey! Won't stay here again!

My family was on a trip and we decided to stop in Columbia for the night. Everywhere we stopped was full except this motel. When I walked in the room there was an awful smell. The bedspread and blanket was dirty. The bathroom shower was also dirty. It was $99 for the night plus tax. On our trip we stayed at 2 other motels for less and they were clean and wonderful for less.

front desk staff was friendly and helpfull.room was clean and very nice restuarants near by. will stay again.

Everything about our stay at the motel was enjoyable. When we checked in the lady was very friendly and accomadating. My girlfriend and I came to Columbia for the Red Hat Convention. I was a little upset because we had a room on the second floor and women always over pack. I had my hands recently operated on for carpal tunnel so I was concerned about getting my luggage etc. upstairs. The gentleman that worked there met us at our car and carried everything upstairs for us. We had a problem with the toliet shutting off when flushed and he totally gave us a new toliet. I went swimming in their large, warm (85 degree) heated pool. There were banana trees planted inside the pool area. The hot tub had a privacy fence around it. There were lounge chairs all around the pool. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. The continental breakfast was very good. They even had biscuits and gravy. The lawns were clean attractive. I would be very glad to recommend this motel to everyone.

I will never stay at this hotel again!!! When I checked in the lady at the front desk was very rude to me and acted like it was a pain to her to check me in. The room was over $100 a night and for that price the room was not at all nice. It was dirty; the rug was grimy and nasty, the bathroom had stains in the toilet, bath tub, and on the floor, not to mention it stunk in the room. The breakfast they served was very poor, the only thing we found ok was the pool and the hot tub. For the amount this hotel charged we certainly felt it was not worth the money at all!! And one more thing, this hotel needs to get out of the stone age, get wireless internet access available in each room. This hotel was a very cheap dirty hotel that charged a whole lot of money with rude service. Get with the program and remodel, clean, and add some new items!!1

We had no problems with checking in or out. However, the room was extremely dirty. Shoes would stick to the bathroom floor, and when using a washcloth to wipe the floor, the washcloth became black. We would not consider walking barefoot in the room. In general, money needs to be spent in updating the entire hotel, and apparently, hiring staff who are trained to clean rooms. Your advertisement indicated a heated swimming pool. That was not the case. The water in the pool was cold, no jets were working on the hot tub, and five windows in the room were broken out, making the room too cold to sit even when fully clothed. Swimming was not possible under these dreadful conditions. Because of the uncleanliness, we will mark in our journal to never stay at this hotel again!

There was only 1 staff member working the night shift while the hotel was completely booked. Children were out of control, the smoke detector in our room was not working and we were told to "take the battery out and put it in the hall". I wrote to Choice Hotels and they took no responsibility. The owner said he was not responsible for guests children but would look into everything else. I never heard back from the owner or the parent company. I will no longer stay at ANY choice hotel because of this.
