Plaza Inn Springfield, Springfield

I only stayed as a late night visit, where I needed a bed at a good value in a good location. The Plaza Inn was the best choice for me. Since I only stayed one night, I didn't have anything but limited exposure. It was a nice, clean hotel that made it easy to stay a night, and complete what was my business trip in the most inexpensive way. From a service standpoint, I can't say enough. I inadvertently left my luggage in the parking lot as I was loading in the rain. "Sunny" was incredibly helpful. He followed up with me on his own initiative, and drove to a UPS station to get it to me at my house. If I go find myself in Springfield, MO again - I'll choose Plaza Inn

The room was filthy. Shoes had to be worn at all times. Dust blew out of the fan in the bathroom when we turned it on. The continental free breakfast: coffee & packaged muffins from Sam's Club. So if you are a family and looking to book a hotel that offers a free breakfast, this is not the place to book. If you need to iron clothes, you have to go to the front desk to get an iron, and then use the table in the room as your ironing board.

Very clean place. Comfortable beds. I had left a small black box with earrings on the black bedspread, and didn't notice it was missing until about four hours later. I called, they checked with the maid, and it was found. Sunny personally took it to the post office and mailed this to my home. I am so pleased that honest people operate Plaza Inn. This could have turned out much differently.

We stayed due to the price and pet friendly rooms. It was close to the shops we wanted to see, and good food. It was decent, nothing wonderful, but clean. Had a few problems with local kids hanging out in the parking lot at 1:00 am and being loud. We asked them to leave, and they did.

Friendly, very clean, great location had all thing ready in room when arrived. They walked us to show where the room was located. I will tell friends and family about this place to stay while in Springfield.Mo
