Needs to be investigated
By saftey first, 06/11/09
This hotel is so outdated its a joke!! They run out of amenities and cleaning supplies. Its down right filthy. Leaks all over the place. Yeah the only good thing is walking through the front door, thats it. The maintenance guys does work for 5 people because they are to cheap to pay the price for lawncare, etc. I feel so sorry for them. I am going to contact the better business bureau.

Roach Motel
By michelle, 07/28/08
When we first walked into our room the bathroom wreaked of mold and the tub had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk and asked for bleach myself to clean the tub. There was roaches present, and when asked if there was a problem they said they have a roach problem especially in the basement. There was mold on the COLD donuts they offer in the morning for breakfast, the carpet was dirty through out the hotel. There was one morning they did not have any towels available, I did not recieve any towels until after noon! On a good note the pool was nice and the front desk employees and management were very nice! I wouldnt recommend anyone to stay here

tired rooms
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/08
ok me and my wife stay there a few times the lobby was very clean. but the elevator looks very old and right there you see the problem. the lobby looks new everything else is tired. the room wasn't clean and the carpet was sticky. i see hair in the tub and you can tell they don't clean very well at all.and burn spots in the cover. also the cover wasn't cleaned it smelled dusty and i see paper on the floor win i came in so you know they didn't vacuum. the only reason i can think someone write a good review it must be someone at the staff because no way it's someone who has stayed there. and breakfast everything is cold. but if you like boiled egg cold then go ahead.

GREAT HOTEL!!! 2008
By RASHEA, 01/29/08
LET ME START OFF BY SAYING THE HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION. THE SERVICE WAS REALLY GOOD. IN THE ROOM THERE WAS A TOURIST BOOK THAT TELLS YOU GOOD RESTARAUNTS AND ATTRACTIONS IN THE AREA. THE ROOM WAS EXTREMLY NICE AND EVERYTHING WAS IN GREAT CONDITION. THIS WAS A VERY BEAUTIFUL HOTEL FOR THE PRICE. WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

A bad night (and morning)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/14/07
I normally do not leave reviews, but was so disappointed that this time, I will. The temperature in the room could not be adjusted so that I could get comfortable and even though it was cold, the room was hot all night. I was up several times trying to adjust the thermostat with no success. When I went downstairs for the free breakfast, there was no coffee (it was all gone; more was being made, but I did not have time to wait); the hot food was also gone. I had a box of dry Fruit Loops and orange juice. I went back to my room to make coffee and there was only decaf. As stated, I was in a rush so no time to find somebody and get regular coffee for the coffeepot in my room. Overall, a miserable night and disappointing breakfast situation. This used to be a nice place but I won't make the mixtake of staying again.

Absolutely Wonderful!
By ChristianP, 02/18/06
The staff was absolutely wonderful. They made sure we had everthing we needed. The continental breakfast had many things to choose from. The pool and hottub were great. The hotel itself is beautiful and is close to many local attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Tupelo area and would love to visit it again myself.

BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Deana, 01/19/06
First room I got had several small bugs crawling around in the bathroom floor and on the vanity. I was so disgusted, but everything else in the city was booked so the option of another hotel was not a choice. The next room I was moved to smelled like mold and had sticky carpet and had a lingering stale smoke smell. The breakfast was also awful. Old food reheated for the third time that week. The rating Yahoo listed for this hotel is way off reality.
