its just an all around cool place in an all around cool city

The proximity to the skyway and all areas downtown were great. I was disappointed with parking, my impression was not in keeping with the quality of the hotel. Bathroom was clean and quality of bedding was excellent. Very comfortable and "cozy."

The Marriott City Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota is a wonderful hotel with class and service that is above reproach. My husband and I have stayed there several times while we were living in Minnesota. It is centrally located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. It has several opportunities within walking distance to shop at the Nicolette Mall, see a great play or musical at the Orpheum or Pantages Theaters, great restaurants like the Hard Rock Cafe or the Minneapolis Cafe with a live latin band on the weekends, to even seeing a Timberwolves basketball or your favorite musical group at the Target Center, which is only a three blocks away. We stayed at the hotel for it's locality and the surrounding amenities. Upon our arrival the staff was curteous and helpful from the valet to the concierge to the cleaning crew. The views are spectacular, the rooms are cozy with contemporary decor that is very soothing and comfortable. Marriott City Center is a place that we would recommend to any one even a total stranger.

I stay at this hotel every week. It's all that you can really expect from a hotel really, it's not that expensive although I do get the company rate. Clean, doesn't smell like anything, gym is smaller than it looks in the picture, right downtown. Very convenient for all business travelers and tourists. Internet connection is poor, high speed just isn't high speed.
