Days Inn Bloomington West, Bloomington

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was larger than in most motels. With children, it was nice to have a separate sink outside the bathroom so that two could be getting ready at once. The beds were good and firm. The staff cleaned our room very well. This isn't a fancy motel but for the price, was more than adequate and a very good deal.

Incredibly rude staff!! Made a request for a refridgerator to be brought to our room to store my medication, was told by the front desk clerk that she would "get to it when she had a chance" in an extremely snotty tone. The fridge didn't appear in our room until the end of the next day. Also, we had left our hotel for an all day outing, only to come back to find housekeeping had forgotten to close our hotel room door. Anyone could've walked into our room while we were out and stolen numerous valuables. Made the issue known to the front desk clerk and was told with an attitude "oh well, that just happens sometimes, nothing we can do about it". I would refuse to stay in a hotel where housekeeping staff obviously routinely FORGET to close room doors. Will NEVER stay there again.

Good Budget Hotel and one of the better hotels. Clean large room, friendly management, very comfortable but firm bed.The rating is fair based on comparison with other hotels in its class in the area.Very friendly helpful staff and good food. We would stay here anytime and recommend to everyone.

This hotel was very nice. Room was clean and spacious.Liked the breakfast. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Service is handy and generous.Nice Hospitality from the staff.Stay was comfortable for the price we paid.The location was good.

AS YOU ENTER THE PARKING LOT,YOU ARE SHOCKED AT THE POOR CONDITION THE WALLS ARE. IT LOOKS LIKE A TORNADO WENT OVER IT. WE WERE EXPECTING QUEEN BEDS LIKE THE WEBSITE MENTION..WE HAD FULL SIZE BEDS.THE ROOMS WERE WORN DOWN WITH SIGNS OF MILDEW IN THE BATHROOM WALLS. IT NEEDS A COMPLETE REMODELING JOB!! WE HAVE NOT STAYED AT A HOTEL IN THIS CONDITIONS,NOT EVEN IN MEXICO. FOR $20 MORE WE COULD OF STAYED AT A VERY NICE HOTEL. Do not stay here under any conditions, the property is completely worn out, the beds were mostly a set of springs sticking into my back, the carpet was nasty.

It was old and needs to be completly redone. The guy behind the desk was really nice and helpful. It was a shame he worked it such a rundown place.
