Budget Inn, Clearwater

Nice stay, Great Value, I thought I was staying at one of those cheap roadside hotels, but when I got there I saw a good looking motel. Inside there was a fantastic pool and it has all the ameneties that you would find in all of the large hotels. It even had wireless highspeed internet. Overall it was a great stay. I will be staying there again.

Obviously there has been a change of owner or management at this establishment. The manager was very rude. We checked in at approx. 5 p.m. and went across the street for supper, upon returning our daughter and her boyfriend stopped in for a few minutes. We were told we could not have guests in our room. We went to the pool where again the manager was rude. He followed us to the pool and wanted $3 per child for swimming...never have had this happen, isn't the pool usually free with a room??? The hot tub was cold, I actually had goosebumps when sitting in it. After swimming we approached the manager and let him know of our disappointment with the way in which we were treated...nothing offered. I wouldn't recommend a stay here unless there is a change of owner/management! Absolutely terribe experience.
