BEST WESTERN Valley Plaza Inn, Midland

I stayed here for a family party. This was a nice place that seemed to be competitively priced for the area. The bed was very comfortable. There are a lot of things to do on the complex - movie theater, a great hotel gym with the option of more equipment for a small fee, putt putt golf, video games, indoor playground, kiddie, adult pools, hot tub, sauna. The rooms are large and comfortable, with glass patio doors. Housekeeping did forget to change my ice bucket bag and plastic cups. Also, my husband called for more pillows, and they ran out but didn't call back to tell us. The next night they were able to provide us with some. Rooms do not have micro/fridge. I don't know if they are available for rental. The hotel restaurant had short hours for dinner, but there are other options nearby. The continental breakfast was OK, more substantial than most, and the staff in the restaurant was very attentive. Next time, I will ask about the fridge, and if available I will stay again. If not, I will try to find a place with that option, to save money on food and also we prefer healthier fare than most restaurants provide.

i was taken their for my birthday and it was the best hotel i have ever stayed at. the pool was wonderful and i loved the hot tub. my boyfriend spent most of his time in the pool or watching tv. the room was clean and they even had shampoo in the room, because of course we forgot that kind of stuff. Also the map in the room was very helpful. i never knew a hotel could have so much stuff in it. Like a fitness room, pool, and even a suna. this was a great place to stay and the price was wonderful.
