LOVE it here!!!
By Krysten, 7/23/10
My fiance and I LOVED this hotel! Everything is so updated and new, the rooms are very clean, the bed was super comfy, nice flat screen tv, and the air conditioner works GREAT! :) The staff was so friendly. We were there for the 4th of July and not sure where to watch fireworks, they were very helpful in giving us directions how to get there and the best place to watch them. One of the best things is that the hotel is right across the street from the state park, all you gotta do is walk across and you're right on the beach. We would definitley stay again. :)

Business Travel

The hotel said they just finished a renovation when I stayed in July 08. They did a great job with the decor and furniture in the rooms. It's probably the nicest Hampton Inn that I have stayed at. The price wasn't cheap (compared to other Hampton Inns), but I guess that's to be expected staying at a newly remodeled hotel during the height of the tourist season. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again for business or vacation.

Won't be back
By C, 3/7/08
The walls between the rooms seem really thin. We were very disturbed by noise from the next door room, all night long. There was a gap where the wall meets the ceiling, and we could see light coming through from the room dext door. Front desk was reluctant to do anything about it. Their answer was that "the hotel was going to be refurbished soon".

Just Read My Review
By E, 1/2/08
The hotel is in a pretty good location, pretty central to most things. During my stay which was New Years the hotel stayed pretty quiet. The staff was friendly(I only dealt with them during check in). The room showed heavy signs of wear. Wallpaper peeling, worn counters in the bathroom. The bathroom was pretty dimly lit. Poor water pressure in the shower. Finally, the one thing I hate the most is the hotel had very hard water. I felt like I could never get Also, because of the hard water the towels felt like sandpaper. Is it too much to ask for to invest in a water softener?
