Pros and cons

We stayed here for one night on a visit to Tanglewood. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the price was right. Soon after we arrived the toilet overflowed, and when I called the desk to report it, I was asked if it could be plunged, and would I like someone to come and fix it? This seemed an unusual question, but I answered that I would like someone to fix it. We waited a bit (15 minutes) and no one came. When I went to the desk, I was asked if I wanted a plunger or someone to come and fix it for me. I wonder how many people pay $163 a night for a hotel room and plunge their own toilet. In the end, it was fixed and remained in working condition for the rest of our visit.
The outdoor pool was lovely upon first look, but there were uncovered filter intakes, which seemed ominous even if they were not turned on. Once I noticed them, my children came right out. The indoor pool was better but the water seemed too warm to be healthy. The hot tub was great.
The breakfast was good, but I recommend going early to avoid crowds and and get a seat. We went at 10:15, and ended up carrying our food back to our room.
