Nice hotel
We stayed here for 4 nights in July and the hotel itself is lovely. However, upon arrival we were told that due to unforeseen circumstances, the Brant Point Grill would be closed for the next three days, so there was no hot food on site. They did put out a continental breakfast and boxed lunches which were decent. The also gave us a $100 gift certificate to dine at one of their other properties. However, they did not tell us that taking the shuttle boat to get there would be $25 each or that the drink we were offered on that boat would be $20 each, therefore cutting what we thought was $100 down to $10.
Also, at 6am on the 2nd morning we were there the hotel's fire alarm went off in everyone's room for 15 minutes and since it was deafening, everyone was out on the terrace in their pajamas, visibly annoyed, and rightfully so.
The only other negative we found was with the concierge. He was not helpful at all and at one point suggested that instead of having him make a restuarant reservation, that we just go in to the place ourselves and try to get one.
The rest of the staff is quite friendly, and everyone says hello to you when you pass by. They were all helpful with getting us beach chairs, towels, water, anything we needed.
I would probably stay in an Inn the next time I go. Don't think it's worth the $600 a night rate.
