Red Lion Inn Where Our Appetites Were Satisfied
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
After spending some time at the Norman Rockwell Museum, we developed a rather large appetite, so off to the Red Lion Inn we went. The Red Lion Inn first draws you in by their inviting porch where you can sit and sip drinks with your meal, and watch the people walk and shop along Main Street. Although the seating is somewhat limited on the porch, there is ample seating in the dining area. During our visit, we opted to eat in the lounge, and we were pleasantly satisfied with the staff, the menu, our meals, and the dessert we shared.

Great Inn, Eat Elsewhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/12/06
The location, staff, service were all great, but $28 for an entry that was mediocre at best and burnt coffee at breakfast. It's a fun place to stay but plan on finding other places to eat.

Historic charm and grace
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/15/06
Not sure where the previous reviewer stayed, but it doesn't sound like the Red Lion Inn we've stayed at for years! Charming decor, the new chef is doing great things with local farm ingredients. Renovations made the parking a bit difficult, but the staff was more than accomodating. We ate almost every meal there due to the rain, and had wonderful, attentive service at each one. Free wireless was a new, nice feature. Keep it up, we'll be back!!!

Tourist Trap...Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/06
If Norman Rockwell settled in another town, this firetrap would have been closed long ago. Staffed with uncaring, smug employees who don't give a damn. Planned on staying a couple of nights this past winter, I left after one night. Noisy rooms with paper thin walls let you hear conversations in the next room. Little hot water. My room was a 'short' five minute walk. Dining room not much better with spotty service. Still waiting for my second cup of coffee. So many nicer places in the area.
