Convenience!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hilton at Logan Airport right in the middle of the Ted Williams Tunnel closures. We thought it would be highly inconvenient, but we were able to get to the airport either by hotel shuttle or on foot, through the walkway between the hotel and the terminals. From there we could get on the "Silver Line", which is a dedicated bus that takes about 15 minutes to get through the whole tunnel mess to the waterfront and on to South Station. It was REALLY convenient!
If you prefer the Blue Line, there was a hotel shuttle that goes there, as well, although to get back it was a little trickier -- Blue Line to the airport shuttle to the hotel shuttle or walk back through the walkways.
As for the hotel itself, the staff was very nice, although the restaurant wasn't the greatest. (Not bad, just so-so.) This wasn't a big deal, as there are so many more dining choices in Boston.
I'm originally from Boston and I'm generally a fan of Marriott, but I would stay at the Hilton at the airport again, just for the overall convenience.
