Wonderful Location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/09
Very pleased with the cleanliness and the service. Great view overlooking Quincy Market. Great shower and comfortable bed. Loved to be so close to Hanover St. where Little Italy area is located. The hotel is close to so many other wonderful restaurants. Walking distance to the T where you can hop on a train to most of the top sightseeing locations. It is also close to the Aquarium and the waterfront. The hotel has completed its renovation and it's in a great location. Got a great deal through a hotel booking website after finding out that it is rated a top 10 hotel in Boston. Would not think twice about staying there again.

Fantastic Loacation
By Frieda, 7/25/07
Loved the fact that the hotel was right there when we got off the expressway. I just pulled up to the valet, then I didn't have to think about the car for the rest of the time we were there. Parking was $40 (not including tipping the valet). As I didn't see any parking anywhere around the Quincy Market/Beacon Hill area, I'm happy with that. One step outside the door and you are right at Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall. No need to eat at the hotel; there are tons of great places right in the shopping district. The T is right down the street for getting around the rest of Boston. The hotel must have been refurbished since the reviews written a couple of years ago. Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. They use aromatherapy in the rooms; no "hotel room" smell! We even had a little balcony overlooking the Farmer's Market. I got a great deal through a hotel booking website. . .only $139 in July for a queen room! As we ended up with a third person at the last minute, they sent up a cot. The directory mentioned "nominal fee" but there was no charge for the cot when I checked out. We will definitely be staying at the Bostonian whenever we return to Boston.

The hotel is right in the middle of everything and still close to the airport. I will stay here again next time I come to town.

Great location, showing it's age.
By PriscillaE, 6/21/07
The location is perfect for visiting Boston as a tourist or for working downtown. The room was spacious but the queen bed was hard and the bed linens looked old and dated. The furniture is not placed logically (can't fully open armoire because desk is in the way) and the outside noise can be distracting if you have a hard time sleeping. The service was very good and the staff does try hard to please. Seasons restaurant was closed for renovations, which judging by the looks of it the whole hotel could use. The wallpaper was peeling and furnishings slightly worn. The place wasn't a mess but it is showing its age. Overall we enjoyed our stay but this is not a deluxe hotel.

we can't wait to go back
By Greg., 10/14/06
Good location, good service, and clean. Hotel upgraded our room to a balcany room when we arrived. We were given the use of the hotel limo for the ride back to the airport at the end of our trip. This hotel location was the best for vacationing in Boston.

Best Location in Town
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/10/06
The view was spectaculor, over looking Quincy Market and the room was very nice and comfortable. We loved the big oval tub and used it many times. There wasn't a coffeemaker in the room and on the 3rd day of our trip we found there was complimentary coffee in the lobby but only until 7:30am. Turn down service was a nice bonus but they only showed up 2 out of 4 nights. The hotel staff was friendly but could have been a bit more informative upon check-in. There internet service was not free, not even in the business center. It required a credit card before you could access the internet. The location was the best as it was within walking distance to so many restaurants and sites. Directly on the Freedom Trail and 1 1/2 blocks from the subway. Will definately stay here again.

Can't beat the location
By nyla, 8/3/06
Millennium Boston is in a great location, and backs up its location with first rate accomodations. Step outside the front door and you are in the thick of downtown Boston. You can walk to most anywhere you need to go, or have easy access to the subway. We like to walk and the Freedom Trail and North Side are just minutes away. Rooms are well done, with enough room for the traveler who spends most of his time on the streets instead of the room. Front desk staff very well informed and helpful. Value at $200 a night in mid-July was excellent. Only complaint was that wireless was offered only in the lobby and not the rooms. I'd stay there again. BOB from COBB
