What a find!

It was February vacation and we have two small boys who were really looking forward to a special trip to Cape Cod. We booked at the Cape Codder in Hyannis and when we got there it was mobbed. We couldn't do anything that the resort offered as special features without waiting in line, getting much less than we felt we paid for- $250.00 a night. So, in hopes of having fun out of the resort we drove around to sight-see and came across the Ocean Club... boy, were we happy to relocate!
The Ocean club, at $90.00 a night, was a terrific place. Right on the ocean, indoor pool, cable, vcr, stereo, fireplace, kitchen area, and whirlpool in every room. The view was lovely- the kind that makes it worth coming to the Cape.
There is no restaurant at the Ocean club but with a fridge and microwave in every room you can bring a few things to make quick meals without going broke dining out. There was even silverware and dishes for guests to use but we chose to buy paper plates and plastic cutlery- who wants to wash dishes on vacation?
In all, we had a really relaxing, family friendly experience and we highly recommend the Ocean Club at Smuggler's beach!
