The absolutely best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/05
I love this hotel because of the people. I have stayed in many Boston hotels but I feel more at home at the Omni. Service is their product and their good at it.

The only place we stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/26/05
Great location. They are close to shopping, dining , Faneuill Hall. Polite, accomodating staff. To get the feel from this historic hotel, visit the bar during snowy weather. The floor to ceiling windows give you a spectacular view of Boston.

it was a good call
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/25/05
My husband and I decided to go to Boston for my birthday. I had read previous reviews and decided to give the Omni a shot. The hotel's proximity to lots of attractions made it great. Also the concierge was helpful and suggested a wonderful place for breakfast on our last morning. The rooms were smaller, but tastefully decorated and the bed felt like a dream. I am now planning a mother/daughter trip for late fall and I will definitely be returning. It's well worth the money!

Best Hotel in Boston
On my first trip to Boston I just happened to book the Omni and it was one of the best travel decisions I ever made. It is in the perfect location to enjoy the city. You are steps away from Boston Common, the "T", historic sites and shopping. The Omni may be one of the oldest hotels in the city but the rooms are comfortable, clean and cozy. I did not feel like I was in an old hotel, nor did I feel neglected by the staff. The room service was great and if you want to enjoy some Boston cream pie, just head downstaris to the house resturant. I had a great time there and recommend to anyone planing to visit Boston. I have been to other hotels in Boston and they just don't compare to the Omni.

Anniversary memories
By Tony, 9/25/05
Upon checkin I made an off-hand comment about it being our anniversary. My wife and I got into our room, cleaned up, and went out for dinner and a concert. When we returned, a platter had been left on the bed with two nice bottles of water and a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries. When we booked this, the room was the least expensive room in the heart of Boston, probably because it was an older, smaller room than some of the pricier hotels. Yet we received, perhaps, the best service of any that I've visited. The rewards club is worth signing up for, even if you only stay at a few Omni hotels.
