Tourist Celebrity

on a large land area, due to architecture, attractive. just the combination of ancient architecture and modern alternating create the attractive building. Tourists will arrive in architecture in a unique addition they also enjoy a good time and in comfort. This is expected of all visitors to this house

Charged too much!
By ,
Charged over $370/night for 4 people. Gave us the smallest room they had. We felt like sardines in a can. It was a beautiful hotel and the service was very good. The location was close to every thing historical. Perfect with no car or if you have one they have parking. Still feel like they charged to much for the room they gave us. (outragously high for off season)

I would never stay here again!
By ,
This hotel was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I've had better experiences at a motel 8. The staff is especially rude and incompetent. To top things off, the rooms are pretty much closets.

Highly Disappointed will not return
By ,
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Omni Parker for our 1 year anniversary. The room was extremely small not to mention the bathroom having no space to towel off. Housekeeping did not come to our room. When we returned from dinner the room looked exactly how we left it. I called for turn down service and NO fresh towels were placed in the room. My favorite part about my stay was our check out service. The bell boy was extrmely nice. I only wish their front desk and housekeeping were the same. I must also mention that their were dirty room service trays of food in the hallway all day long we left in the morning and when we returned they were still their. I am highly disappointed especially considering the price we paid. The Onmi Parker however does have comfortable beds and yes it is in a great location to walk to attractions. Location great service not great at all.

Great location at an affordable price
By ,
The staff were phenomonal and the hotel itself was beautiful. The location alone is enough to merit a great review, and while the price was steep for my budget, I thought it was worth every penny. The only thing I didn't like was that our TV, although new-looking and probably expensive, did not always work properly (ie, the volume would randomly get louder and then softer in the middle of shows and commercials). But since we didn't spend much time watching it, it wasn't a problem.

Just not tha great
By ,
The hotel has been renovated and it certainly needed it. However, the renovations are not an improvement. The old world charm is now a menagerie of old world with a mixture of contemporary. The beautiful high boys have been replaced by dark square dressers. The gorgeous drapes are now striped overbearing window treatments. The nice settee in the suite is now heavily upholstered ugly dark colors on 2 small stiff square chairs. The bathroom used to have a mirror with a shelf hanging over the sink. This was a great place to put your toothpaste and lotions. Now all you get is an oval mirror with a silver edge and a large silver soap dish which is too large for the sink. It was necessary to store my bathroom items on the back on the toilet, yuck. The hair dryer hangs in a bag behind the bathroom door. If for any reason you need to put the dryer down while you are drying your hair there is no place except in the sink as there is no room on top of the sink, this beautiful hotel is ruined. I am a select guess and have frequented the hotel for the last 30 years. All I can say now is that I will not go back. The Omni Parker House in Boston is just a sad part of Boston’s history now.

The Parker House Rules !
By ,
The Omni Parker House House is one of the most elegant yet home-like hotels I've ever had the pleasure of residing. Our four night stay went without a hitch. The room was cozy with the most comfortable bed and at least six pillows! Having a chocolate and weather card at turn down was a great treat! The staff was remarkable for their personal service from remembering our names each time they greeted us to advising which "T" to use. Our morning breakfast buffet was an experience in itself ...from the famous Parker House rolls to personalized omelets ..even smoked salmon for your bagels and very fresh fruit. Being a true southern belle, it was wonderful to have such hospitality bestowed upon us way up north.

I enjoyed my stay
By ,
We stayed at this hotel the Friday after Thanksgiving. The check in service was friendly. The gift shop service was awful. Valet service was good as well. The room was big enough for the two of us. The view was of a rooftop and another building which is to be expected in a downtown setting and for such a historic building. We enjoyed being able to walk to all of the historic sites. We took the T at a nearby station to Fenway Park. Later than night we went out for drinks and didn't need to worry about driving. We were pleased with the comfort of the bed. There were at least a dozen pillows. We were a little disconcerted with the window curtains. We weren't sure if they were meant to be closed because the piece of cloth that held them back was secured to the wall. We ended up just pulling the curtains out of that but then wondered if they might catch on fire with the heater. Well no fire. My boyfriend wasn't impressed overall so we probably won't go again but I would.

Charming and Historic
By ,
We had a wonderful weekend and the Breakfast buffet was great on Sunday. Bfore we left for home we walked around after breakfast to see some more sites. Regardless of other comments we think this is a luxury hotel as we only stay in 4 star hotels on our trips. The beds in the hotel are wonderful and the hotel Junior Suite we booked was so big we have plenty of room to have our friends traveling with us join us for drinks before heading out on the town. We would go again and choose the Omni
