The Governor Prence Inn is located in the village of Orleans with in walking distance of many restaurants, galleries and shops. We are directly on the Cape Cod Rail Bike Trail, and are a short drive to ocean or bay beaches. Relax in our shady court yard by our large outdoor pool and gazebo with picnic tables and BBQ grills. Our smoke free rooms feature refridgerators A/C and HBO.

Disappointed

Governor Prence has a good location with a reasonable distance to the beach. We were disappointed in several things: no hot water (15 minute wait), no hair dryer, no iron, a musty smell, and the room has not been updated in a while. We would not recommend the Governor Prence and we certainly would not go back.

relaxing

I loved the relaxing time I had and the fact that there pool and beds were so clean.The location is great it is near all the shopping.

I have been staying here for several years. I just love this place! Great continental Breakfast! Close to everything! Staff couldnt have been nicer. I highly recomend this place!

charming rooms, accommodating staff

I have been staying here for several seasons and find Governor Prence to be consistently a good bargain with nice sized clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they offer a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Also, Orleans is a cute town- keeping its old Cape Cod flavor.

clean rooms;small, but nice pool - great for the kids; continental breakfast; rooms were quiet. ambience is that of an older motel- this has been a mainstay on the Cape for over 35 years -good value.
