Some Problems Here

We stayed in the Jarvis Suite for two nights. The room was romantic with a fireplace, large jacuzzi and large shower. It was really tastefully done and quite beautiful.
The breakfast and restaurant's food was very good. The second morning we were there, our waitress did not credit us the $15 and we had to bring it to her attention. Even then, she thought that it would be done at the front desk. Since this was our second morning, we knew different. She checked and corrected our receipt. If this was our first morning, we would have thought it was the way she explained it to us and we would have been charged for the whole amount.
The bed was not comfortable. It had a large foam cushion on top of the mattress. As my husband laid down, I rolled into him. Yes, this is romantic, but not conducive for sleeping. It is time for them to change the mattresses.
The ventilation system was noisy and could be heard throughout the quiet of the night. It could also be heard in the hall. It sounded like a clothes dryer was running and small metal pieces or zippers were hitting the sides. It kept us both up for the two nights we were there. We informed the desk after the first night and they wrote it down, but it was not addressed for the second night. We had a lovely time on Cape Cod, but we went home very tired from the sleepless nights.
We did not hear the couple in the next Jarvis Suite, but when they ran their tub or shower, it was if it was in our suite. It was very very loud.
My husband and I have been at many of the inns in the Select Registry and this is not up to their standards. We would not recommend it to our friends. We were disappointed.
