On June 18, 2010 the Wayside Carriage House Inn opened its doors. We are a 46 room boutique property that is located in Sudbury, MA. We provide all of the comforts and conveniences essential to todayâ€™s traveler including a lobby lounge with a bar, a fitness room, and a business center. Our full-service spa will be opening soon to finish our complete wedding package. Not only are we located along historic Boston Post Road- just one mile east of well-known colonial landmark Longfellowâ€™s Wayside Inn- but we are also close to the battle grounds of Lexington and Concord, Walden Pond, Garden in the Woods, as well as many global companies. We offer complimentary shuttle service in between the Wayside Inn and Wayside Carriage House Inn. Other local attractions include parks, museums, and shopping for all budgets and tastes- The Wayside Carriage House inn is located just 20 miles west of historic downtown Boston.

The rooms are amazing! All new furniture, decor, flat screen tv, and a friendly atmosphere.

Only stay here if you have to

The rooms smelled bad and the hotel was extremely noisy could hear everyone in rooms around us. Only stayed here because it is close to family I think it is only hotel within 10 miles of Sudbury, which is why they can charge such outrageous rates

Buisness travel

The room was nice and large, the bathroom a bit smaller than competitors, and the TV (which was CRT) didn't have a great deal of channels. The bed was clean and comfortable, and there was a refrigerator in the room. There was also a desk that was a comfortable work space. I didn't try the internet. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is a gem!

Wow, this hotel was a perfect fit for my last trip. If your tired of the cookie cutter hotel then this is the place for you. I was very surprised by the quality of service and their willingness to help me with directions and refer me to great restaurant next door. The manager called me personally to make sure my stay was enjoyable and he was happy to assist my wife with her bags when we checked out. Hats off to the staff and management of this small hotel.

A Perfect Choice

Our daughter was getting married at Longfellow's Wayside Inn which is right down the road ~ less than a mile away. We were able to have all of our closest friends and relatives stay with us at the Clarion Carriage House. The setting was more intimate and homey than bigger hotels, and having the suite with connecting rooms made it possible for us to visit with everyone more easily. We have some lovely photos of the bride taken on the staircase and in the beautiful living room. The sumptuous breakfast included in the price of our rooms was another bonus. Not having an elevator was no problem for us at all, since it's only 3 floors and there are entrances at 2 levels. The fresh cookies and fruit were great! Just one improvement that we could think of would be if it were an entirely non-smoking hotel.

They try hard anyway

Arrived with young children after 4 hr drive. Our room was not clean despite arrivalk after check in. We we sent to second room. And then requested to move a second time to ready room. Hotel was recommended as a popular busoness hotel and our arrival was on a Saturday. On of the conference rooms still hadn't been cleaned from the day before. The same woman who did mmost of the cleaning on Saturday was also cooking the breakfast items Sunday morning. The staff were polite. The front desk however, did not know our rooms weren't ready. They seemed overall confused and short staffed.
